  1. Wonder how long it will take CWT before he pulls flowers out to try to save this game! My guess, he will choke on his pride and lose this game by leaving flowers in.
  2. So much for QF improvement! Playcalling looks like it's back to its same old plain-vanilla.
  3. I would love to beat UCONN!!! Should be decent weather & if CWT keeps that attitude you will see a different team. I heard somewhere that Kinnan was calling plays? Can anybody substantiate that?
  4. Wow mid season & he's gone! Guess he didn't want a losing season on his record or maybe health reasons????
  5. I admit CWT has been on my short list for quite awhile but...just when this team gets a convincing win & coach finally goes home to family to be awakened with that news has to be down right frustrating (putting it mildly). I actually felt bad for him & the team. Having that victory short lived with this. I'm sure the usual reasons as to the "why" mentioned above will eventually come out. I hope the young man gets his life turned around. Just glad no one was injured or lives lost.
  6. That is a serious fodder question. I agree if this exists go to the AD or someone that can be trusted to advise you. The AD over football, Tomey would be one to go to .....if.....football related. Brad, you definitely need a way to screen these new posters.
  7. Who is the "THEY"? The players? Heaven forbid CWT should take the blame on himself. If you don't produce the right atmosphere for productivity you get jack. A lot of what he states are what he wants the fans to think but we know all is not well.
  8. The man is highly respected by the team! That is obvious in the way the defense tries to play for him. He lets them know when they mess up but is right there when they do it right! We need someone like that as head coach. A guy with a fire in his belly & a will to win for the team & not out to prove his agenda.
  9. I haven't stopped to think how the players must be feeling. They could be getting just as frustrated as the fans if not more. These guys are not dumb jocks & I would bet they are getting just as down as the fans with the lack of play calling. The only thing left is for them to play for themselves. Too bad all of them can't go out on strike to make a statement to the AD the change needs to be made sooner rather than later.
  10. Just to clarify, I used Allen's name as an example. I would be for who has the experience & the heart to make it happen for the team.
  11. GA BULL, I agree that we will probably not get a chance for this to happen. But, this one man show is certainly getting old & it will be interesting to see how many seats are occupied.
  12. I know most if not all are frustrated (putting it mildly) with the way this season is progressing. Just a question to throw out there for other opinions from this board. My thought is if CWT is let go soon enough would an interim coach such as Allen be able to right the ship & salvage what is left of this season? I know we have talent that needs developed & I also know there have been pages written about the QB issue. I see both QB's have strengths in different areas. We've got WR's & RB's. Would a different coach change to the spread or option help? What are your thoughts?
  13. I wish just once that CWT would put his pride aside & give the OC & offensive staff a chance to call all the plays. Just one game & then we can see if our theory works & we win.
  14. Wow, just wow! Unfortunately this may not get any better. I was thinking 17-18k but 14! I feel like some old person long for the past. The good ol' days. I hope those that need to know took note. I don't want gimmicks, I want good football. It is getting so depressing watching other teams with a packed house & an electric atmosphere. When will this come?
  15. Most of the fans were on the team side of the stadium. The visitor side was virtually empty.
  16. Smazza, on a more serious note Tony Dungy had quite a bit of say in CWT's hire. Woolard went to him for his opinion once the choices were narrowed down. Dungy gave CWT the stamp of approval.
  17. I would love to see an explosive offense instead of implosive offense.
