  1. Let's not go overboard with bencing starters especially on the offensive line. While our OL second team is talented it is very young. If we bench our starters we have no chance to win. Until these guys are ready to play I would rather take my chances with the penalties and still stay in the game. While I too am frustrated with the penalties nobody is more frustrated than Jim Leavitt. If he had answer I don't think he would need us armchair QBs to point it out to him.
  2. I'm no QB guru, but I've played and watched enough football to know that you can't throw the ball accurately (unless you are Brett Favre) w/o setting your feet. our OL did a decent job tonight of giving him time to throw but while he in the pocket he woud be hopping up and down with his legs going everywhere. His mechanics are still a mess. Combine that with some questionable decisions and you wind up with 4 interceptions which could of easily been 6 or 7. Do we tip our hats to SoPiss playing good defence or chalk it up to a safety playing QB? PJ would make a great safety.
  3. Stick this guy in formaldehyde b/c it's the rarest of the rare: a classy USM fan. It's too bad that USM and UL don't square off to determine the class of the league.
  4. Kiss my ass, you condescending backwater, wife swapping redneck. Time to drive your home back to the bayou.
  5. He has plenty of arm strength, probably the best arm the program has ever had. The problem is when you don't read coverages or throw into triple coverage you are not going to be a good college QB. PJ has tools but he just makes too many mistakes. He'll get better as the season goes along....I hope.
  6. Congrats....you must be suffering some major withdrawal pains from not attending USF football. I would say basketball but well.....you know... ;^) Hey Brad: do you offer or know anyone who sells toddler (3-4T) Bulls jerseys? I've seen them at the games the last two years and I can't for the life of me find them.....
  7. FYI: If you are in the market for a DirecTV HD receiver but hesitant to spend over $400 for a new dish and receiver, you can very easily haggle with their customer retention department (1-800-600-8977) and receive a new HD receiver, an oval triple LNB dish, free installation and 6-months of free HD programming for $99.00 plus tax + S&H. Simply call this number and ask them if they can match dish network's or Voom's offers for a "free receiver". If you are interested in learning more read the HiDef forum thread below which tells you what to look for and how to approach DTV. The only caveat is that they won't start giving you their best deal until you tell them that you want to cancel. After that it's pretty easy to keep them retreating to $99.00 if you have been a customer for more than 5 years or $149 for customers of 3 years. This has been a CyberBull public service announcement. High Def Forum
  8. That is just bad journalism. On the other hand, maybe one of Spurriers contacts/supporters are starting a propaganda campaign. Interesting.
  9. That is priceless.... Hey Pedro....whose your Daddy?"
  10. "Post" is a nebulous word. It could refer to a thread or a single post. Or it could refer to both a thread and post, or perhaps even 7 reaction provoking posts in one thread that could of been in one post. Got it.....b/c I'm not sure..... In the end it doesn't matter b/c the RedSux can't void trading The Bambino to the Yankees nor can they raise the Green Monster 10-feet to turn Bucky Dent's homerun into a long double. Hey guys it could be worse....you fellas could Mets fans ;^)
  11. Exclusive 2-ply toilet paper good for wiping......well you know...... good for wiping away RedSux fans tears for the last 80 years
  12. Just in case RedSux fans get their hopes up for the post-season
  13. Yankees should be weary of RedSox not playing nice AGAIN!
  14. Does Pedro need a hug from Curt Shilling after another big game choke against the Yankees?
  15. Looks like this RedSux fan swallowed Boston's momentum before the game
  16. After watching South Carolina give a 39-year old WR a scholarship I called up Jim Leavitt and gave him my verbal committment. Although I am a few years younger than the 30-something at USC, I don't want tire myself out with the constant recruiting calls. BTW, I guess you can consider me a 'soft' verbal partly b/c I am planning at taking some other visits ;^)
  17. Grothe is actually taller than Drew Brees and last time I looked Brees was making a living on Sundays. Joe Montana wasn't much taller and Mike Vick is generously listed as 6'1". Throw in O'Leary's boy in Joey Hamilton who is tall enough at "5'8" to back up Peyton Manning. USF also had a couple of successful field generals that were not exactly threatening Yao Ming in the height column.
  18. This game will tell us alot about the heart of this team and who are the leaders. Leavitt coached teams as the record shows bounce back well from adversity and find a way to win. I expect to win.
  19. I think there is a small private school in trendy Coral Gables that would say different. However it is not unreasonable that we should be striving to compete for a nationa championship within the next 10 years.
