    Just went by the store Heads and Tails, on Kennedy Blvd, thinking they now carried Bulls merchandise.  The only Bulls shirt they had was a green shirt that had 45-14 on the front...and on the back "You came in ranked and went home spanked...out played and out coached."  Anyway, thought it was funny.  The lady said they should start getting more USF gear in soon.

    Our defense is clearly the strength of this team. Giving them the ball first sends a strong message to our defense.

    I wish he would have come down with that ball. We scored on the drive anyway, but that would have been huge for his confidence.

    Why we are on the topic of the band: I sit in Section 112 and have a hard time hearing the fight song after a score. Not many people, if any, in our area do the chant during the fight song, probably because they can't hear the music. The crowd is loud and the band is small. Is it possible to put microphones in front of the band and have the music piped over the loud speakers only after scores? It would be great to hear the fight song throughout the whole stadium after a score. I grew up going to FSU and UF games and on many occasions sat near the bands. I could always remember seeing tall stands with microphones on the top in front of the bands. Not sure if it was for TV or maybe they were piping the music over speakers? Just curious.

    I agree with Flip. You are looking at the main sports page of the Trib. You have to see the college bonus section. Half the page is CJL getting doused, then A Jackson picture under that, and then the bottom quarter of the page talking about the Gators.

    Voting from Sunday morning to Wed at midnight. Winning school announced at halftime of Thurs night game. Winning school gets $5000 to general scholarship fund.

    According to the Tribune today, Elvis took a visit to USF before choosing L'ville.  We need to keep recruits like that from leaving the state.
