    An example, we dont call it the University of Alabama at Birmingham, we call it UAB, eventually (if not now) we will just be known as USF, even though our official name will be the University of South Florida

    just a heads up, I think UConn was a I-AA Indy before it made it to the BE in football, maybe UMass could make the switch, UMass currently is 6-2 with 3 games to go, and is ranked #9 in the ESPN/USA Today I-AA poll

    I did think of Toledo, they're probably the best MAC team in a decent metropolitan area.

    Also to ponder, do you forsee a split of the BE between BE football schools and BE non-football schools?

    ....who should the 9th team be and why? I personally would say either Penn State or Navy. Both teams are good football schools. Navy is an independant, in which being in a conference would help create schedules, and Penn State because they are the odd-team out in the Big Te...errrr Eleven. What do you all think?

    This is why the only shows I listen to on WDAE are Ron and Ian between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and the Big Dog between 3 and 6 p.m.

    how about since Hillborough County HS games are tomorrow (Thursday) that they move the USF game to Friday night at RayJay

    according to the USF notes in the St Pete Times this morning, Monday the 24th is an option, I wouldnt mind Monday Night (College) Football, and of course this is if the storm keeps its current track, in which us Floridians know will be close, but not exact

    Let's put it this way, I no longer attend USF and am still going to the Homecoming game, I'm really hoping to see a decent student section this week...GO BULLS!!!

    I wasnt at the game due to prior commitments, and I know I'm a bit late on this topic, but did students really get tazered on the field for rushing? I just cant believe this happened. I remember 2 years ago and we beat L'ville in 2OT that we rushed the field. It's just those greedy Glazers who want to keep us off of the precious field.

    what if......since the Marlins gov't-funded stadium wasnt on the budget....the D-Rays were contracted and everything affiliated with the Marlins (owner, players etc.) moved to Tampa. I honestly have to say that if the Rays owners were not there they would have better players and i turn would draw much better. What do you all think?

    my idea for the arena's name....the KFC Bucket actually this name was thought of when the Memphis (then Vancouver) Grizzlies were planning on relocation. Some guy was planning on movig the Grizzlies to Louisville, remnaming them the Kentucky Colonels, in which they would play games in the KFC Bucket
