I love this board for one simple reason; a mantra i've always followed: "surround yourself with the best". I'm just a huge fan, but everyone else on here is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Just wanted to take a second to be mooshy and tell you guys how much i enjoy coming to this board multiple times everyday just to see what you guys have written. Thanks again guys for helping me be a better fan.

I say you take the top two teams in every major conference and set up a system that uses all the current bowls plus new ones; i think that would be pretty cool.

ok, so dumb question here... If Clemson is denying him a scholie because they already have too many QB's, aren't we kinda in the same boat?? or, is it just a matter of Clemson not thinking he could beat out any of their current/prospective QB's and that he'd blow the competition away at USF??

I played HS ball with Nick and his brother Vinny at CCCHS. I can tell you with 100% confidence that they can both hold their own very well. Vinny was a huge force in our linebacking corp. leading out team to a 9-2 record, one of the best in school history. And Nicky played tight end and I believe he also did long snapping for a bit. Anyways, these guys are both very football savvy and I'm glad to have them playing for the Bulls, even if their contributions are limited to giving our first team a good look in practice.

Wow, totally lash out at me why don't you. Is this not a message board where I'm allowed to show my opinion? I have total faith in our team and I love the Bulls, so why am I disrespected like I'm a Knight or something. By the way, I HAVE met Coach Leavitt face to face before, and I like his style. I was merely making an overall observation not directly correlated with this recent player suspended, but more so about a broad aspect of the team. "SHUT UP!!!!!! You're trying to correlate aggressive play with discipline off the field. Put your application in Diddy. You seem so **** qualified to give life lessons. If you even met Leavitt once you wouldn't be saying this crap. It sickens me to read it. " I mean that's just plain rude and disrespectful. As I said I was just putting in my opinion with the utmost respect intended to any of the board members. I don't have to be agreed with, in fact I like talking about certain things, but when you call ME a freak and lash out at me that's somewhat hypocritical in my book.

do u really think a team is really that disciplined when we have that many penalties last season??? Or what about us playing down to the abilities or the teams we're playing( i.e. Tenn tech)??? There needs to be an improvement in discipline, i'm not saying there isn't any, but there is definitely room for improvement.

The problem is that Leavitt isn't really much of a disciplinarian. Every one of our teams have lacked the discipline to compete with the big big schools. I mean look at our penalty minutes! I've always believed that we're just too out there; going with the flow. This can't be done anymore, football is a job in the college ranks, and I think the coaches and players are just still riding the emotional roller coaster of moving through the ranks all the way to a BCS team. Well now that we've hit the top, snap to reality, and get to work Leavitt. Hopefully he shows us a more disciplined squad next year with a BALANCE of emotion and hard work.

Agreed. Our schedule is very tough as it stands, but maybe this would be a good year to welcome that challenge. Letting the new guys learn from the likes of WVU, Miami, and FSU would be a huge boost plus it would help recruiting as well. Let's let people know that there IS a new kid on the BCS block.

I posted this because I'm sure that everyone that lived at USF during the Kwik's tenure probably has some kind of wacky story related to it. didn't we finish at 25th a few years back during marquell's senior season?? I think we finished 9-2 or something and beat a week-removed-from undefeated bowling green near the end of the season. I remember because I was on the field. 8)
