  1. Struck out at Sports Fanatic - University Square.
  2. I'm looking to buy a couple USF helmets - anyone have any experience with these? I found two, both made by Schutt. One is $80, the other is $175. It sounds like the only difference is one has interior padding and the other does not. Any feedback y'all can give me would be most appreciated.
  3. When we handed it to Loserville, I kept thinking how HUGE the momentum probably was in that game. In other words, if we hadn't (fill in the blank (scored on our opening drive, returned that second half kick off, etc)) what would have happened? Now I look back on our season. With the exception of PITT, if we don't get the momentum early - we lose. Plain and simple. Now, how do we grab it against WVU?
  4. I'm sure many of you watched the WVU/PITT game last week, looking forward to our upcoming game. What do you all think? As optimistic as I am, if we can't stop that running game, I think we're going to be in a world of trouble. Haven't we played that offense before successfully?
  5. ANDRE'S RUNNING MOTTO: TRY STOPPING ME MY BOWL TRIP MOTTO: TRY STOPPING ME
  6. What do you think about us taking a collection and sponsoring our own bowl "package" contest (obviously the "package" will be decided by how much we're able to raise). We could put it together, and send a press release. Good exposure for our site, good exposure for our team.
  7. How about we sponsor a give-away? Good exposure for our site. Good exposure for our team. We take donations, see what we end up with. Then do a press release explaining the "contest" and get it out to all the radio/tv stations, newspapers, etc?
  8. Unfortunately I (obviously) did not see the game on tv....however, from the picture, it looks like Jackson has position on him and probably tipped the ball away. Had he stopped half a second earlier, you can see that he could have out-jumped the d-back and grabbed the ball at it's highest point.
  9. Are you sure they were talking about the unis and not their first half performance?
  10. I remember that PITT game last year - there about 5,000 people in the stands...or at least that's how it seemed.
  11. I don't care where or when the game is - I'll be there. I don't know about the 11 other people I plan to brnig this weekend - but I know I'll be there.
  12. I know this thread isn't for everyone, if you don't want to ponder with me, please disregard. Going into the UM game, I wondered how that UL game would have gone had we not grabbed the momentum like we did. So, I was watching the replay last night of the UM game. I can't help but wonder, what if Jackson caught that first pass. Do you think that changes the game? It's obvious that if weren't so charitable with the ball, we would've had a different outcome....but what about that catch and possible run?
  13. Have we talked about matching shirts? I was in Miami for the Clemson game last year, and it was very impressive that EVERY Clemson fan was wearing an orange shirt. Compared to last week where we looked more hodge-podge...some green, some white, some grey. Definitely something we should try coordinating somehow, going forward.
  14. BeastieBull - don't be leaving the game early and then asking what happened after you left. Stay to the end and see for yourself!
  15. ...but he still tried to score when most coaches would have taken a knee - not saying right or wrong, just saying he did try to run it up. I, personally, didn't think it was too cool - but just my opinion.
  16. North Miami Beach Leaving Sarasota Friday morning, coming back Monday morning
  17. I posted a reply to one of your other post cygnus - thinking maybe you had something worth hearing. Now I see you're just talking smack. My bad. May the better team win this weekend.
  18. Not sure what you're talking about cugnus. I was born and raised a 'Cane....they were my only team.....until about 1997. I'm still a 'Cane fan most weekends, this coming weekend excluded. From a pure football perspective, you can't say USF doesn't have a decent shot. Offensively, Miami has struggled all season...giving up tons of sacks....not able to get the ball in the endzone or even between the uprights. I think we win that side of the ball. Offensively, we will not be able to float those deep passes out there like we did against UL and their backs are probably too quick for us to break any kind of long play. However, Miami has not stopped the run off tackle or misdirection all season. If the commit to stop Andre, then we have to be able to take advantage like we did against UL. If we can put 21 on the board, we should win. Miami should not be able to put 21 on the board with Wright, with a stuggling O-line and with our smothering defense. I was thinking depth could come into play, but with an 8:00 kickoff, I think that advantage slips away as well. In addition, UM really is not that deep this season anyway. In my opinion, this is very much our game to lose. GO BULLS!
  19. I noticed on another thread that someone mentioned it being too bad that no one has pictures of the mess that went on in the endzone postgame. I think I have video. A lady who was with us said she recorded the whole thing with her digital camera.... I'll check with her - if she has a video, does somebody want it?
