  1. Ok points have been made on both sides. But when calling out and rebuttle to calling out and calling names, this sheat is not acceptable. Let's drop this sheat and get to matters at hand. Anyone who has had the opportunity to play for USF is a star in my book, washout or hero. Let's keep those comments in check and look at the main issue here... student apathy . Cut out the crap guys and let's let the softbulls play on. Those that want to support can, those who feel unwanted can attend another sport. Let's move on! Reaper
  2. Get Hollis. he is the marketing and PR man we desparately need! He'll make things happen here!!!
  3. MikeG good points. Now for the real question...'Hey. beer man?"
  4. Mike you are correct on some points. No, they have a great record before he came. Yes, I will scream about it. Why? It's the apathy I can't stand of the vast majority of the so called fans here at USF. Instead of getting a team that was lackluster and unenthused about playing fired up by a fan who wanted them to, they would rather tell the fan to stop his support. It WAS uncalled for the player to address the fan. Her job is to control her team and get them fired up. It's the catchers job as field leader to do so. To have 'rabbitt ears" listenening to a fan ramble on and on is an indication she is not in the game. I have been around and in baseball long enough to know about the "curse." It is a hard habit to break. She needs to be in the game and that I blame the coach for not stepping in. If Erickson was there this 'incident' would not have happened. The man knows ball. That's why he is what he is. And as for rabid fans, the Brooklyn Dodgers had one of the most rabid fan base there ever was, and they were champions. One fans over zealousness does not constitute a verbal inquisition from a player. And if he was out of line, the umpire would have taken care of the situation. My main objection was and is is the fan, the person and the attitude. We never will be where we want to if the spirit is quenched! You and I both know that. Just look at football. We should have filled that place every time. Oh well. What's the old saying about beating a dead horse!
  5. What a shame, or should I say sham! To criticize a fan who obviously wanted to have the Softball team not Quit, quit on themselves and their fans. To yell at someone who is being a fan, is wrong! The softball team or those who are criticizing this should be ashamed. If you fans think that being quiet at games is the thing to do, then you all fall into the realm of Tampa fair weather fans. You people suck! Just wait till maybe next games. You think the Sherrif was bad, try about 20 or 30 Sherrifs. THEN we'll see who the true fans are. In the mean time, to all who are the quiet type, better buy earplugs because here we come!!! The Reaper!!! > > >
  6. Watson has the curse..."Rabbitt ears!" C,mon Watson, get in the game and close the mechanism!
  7. How many fans did Watson chew out for razzing the other team?
  8. What a shame!!! No wonder there isn't enthusiasm to go to our softball games if crap like that goes on. For cryin out loud! Doesn't the catcher realize that part of the sport is loud, cheering which includes heckling the other team into breaking their concentration? Evidently not. If she want quiet, join the golf team. Maybe she deserves a 1AA scholie instead of ours!!! > Reaper
  9. The Drakes carry as much weight as the Penns. Not sure if JB can wear any USF stuff iwhen he makes the O Team. If I do see him I'll tell him you all asked and are giving him the support!
  10. Folks, if you need an answer on the hot Bulls topics of today...It's Howie. Thanks Howie. Looking forward to seeing you and the Mrs. again at the watch parties. Reaper
  11. Saw Jimmy two weeks ago on campus. Said he was ranked 3rd in the nation. He looked GOOD!!!!! Reaper
  12. Terry. If you take away anything from all the conversations and good times we have had, remember this always...Family comes first! USF sports will always be around, but family will not. Treasure the times you have with your folks, because when they are gone, it's an empty place! I know! Your folks need you right now. So put the trip on the rainy day schedule. You know there will be plenty more roadies in store for you! Reaper
  13. I loath the Packers!!! Yes I am a Bears fan and for dip schlitz Sherman to make that comment about D'Rube only puts fuel on the fire. Melt you frakin cheesehead, and stay put in that frozen tundra called Green puke!!! Sherman can go shine my Bears shoes!!!
  14. $75.00-$100.00 (Includes golf, cart, lunch, and awards dinner.) This is the standard.
  15. Too steep for the average fan! Most unfortunate. Tampa Palms is not that nice of course. It kind of shuts the door out on us wanna be's. Hope they get enough to play at those prices. Good luck Coach. I hope you get a thousand participants. Reaper
  16. I think Hart would be a great addition to USF athletics...but not as AD. In the public relations realm, by all means. Hey, he IS a former Bull!!!
  17. Ding!!! And that's the end of round one. Stay tuned for round two.....
