    The NFL will start play the weekend after Labor Day from now on. I think the move to Labor Day afternoon will be a smart one. It'll most likely be the only game on Labor Day afternoon. Good exposure.

    So MikeG...are you against some simple discussion? Becasue that's all this is. I found it an interesting topic...that's all. So far...nobody has put you in charge of what's posted here. As far as what I have seen...only your responses belong in the trash. Quit being so defensive.

    I'm not trying to start any quarels. Just curious. I think the majority of college teams would kill to have a coach like Spurrier. Only teams like Oklahoma and others with great coaches wouldn't. I know how much you all like Leavitt. And I know that Spurrier's not coming to USF. I just find it hard to believe some of you when you say that you wouldn't want Spurrier.

    I'm having trouble believing any of you. If Leavitt left and USF hired Spurrier...you all would jumping for joy...and your future BE comrads would be shaking in their boots!! Smazza isn't the only one with sense here is he? I'm not sayin that you all want Leavitt fired...but I think you would trade him for Spurrier!! What if you had Spurrier...but could keep your D-Coordinator?

    If Spurrier said he would coach at USF if Leavitt was fired....you all would pray for Leavitt to screw up!! I know you all would love to have Spurrier coach at USF, rather than the beloved "JIM".

    Garcia fits into Gruden's system perfectly. He's already familiar with the West Coast Off. and is a gritty vet. I don't see both Johnson and Garcia on the same team together. Johnson may ask to be traded. Gruden is re-vamping everything towards his style and control, now. He dealt with what he had before and now will build his own team...instead of Dungy's. I like this sign!!! Good pick-up!! At least better than the days of signing guys like Joe Ferguson!!! Yikes....I can't believe I even put myself through those years...

    Yes and no. He started a few games...but wasn't a star. He became better known in the NFL. Spurrier played for the 49ers as a backup most of his NFL career. He only played for the Bucs one year during their first ever season.

    Smazza.. How about Brad Johnson. He has a Super Bowl ring and got it on his own. One of the top rated QB's of all time...outta FSU if you didn't know.

    Rumors I know...but Vandy leaving the SEC with all those problems they have going on makes sense.  And I know WVU would take off like a rocket to the SEC...who wouldn't??!! C'mon SEC....do the right thing.  Save Vandy!  ......and put them out of their misery by letting them out of the SEC...then invite WVU!!  The SEC would ROCK!!
