When I was in high school 1983-84 I played against a skinny, tall, gangly (sp) kid from Merrit Island... Many, many, many college scouts watched this kid play.. Eventually he wound up getting scholarship to Vandy, I believe he played 4 years (not sure) and he eventually went on to the NBA to earn some rings with the Bulls, any guesses on who it was? Hell didn't Sampson also play 4 years? Any kind of a 7 footer is good!

When the recruits arrive to tour the atheltic fac. I think the following should be playing in the background... I am fine RJS but we need to take steps to USF-ize RJS... I have said many time we need to invest in some kind of tarp that would cover the red of the top levels... Imagine green and gold on the entire upper level! They could be put up and taken down very easily, hell I know painting of the field is a no-go but this could be easily done! What would the expense be 200,000 bucks? I will donate $100 alone to help customize the stadium and make it look not so empty!

I imagine we could always sign FAMU as a tune-up filler? I still would not mind signing a 2-1 with Troy... It is a short enough road trip and is a quality team (Bowl)... I also think we will wind up signing agreement with UCF if we go to 12 games each year, I think c-usa owe us a game each year? The money brought in locally and at the stadium for the UCF series will surprise most, and yes 40,000 bodies each UCF game... I know of at least 20 guys my age that will come for RJS games that are UCF'ers... Like it or not the quickest way to become the 4th florida power is to Smack down ucf! There is something about the war of I-4.... see arena league turnout for this anual game!

It's the off season now, where are we weakest? #1- Defensive Backs #2- Quaterback #3- Receivers #4- Coaching Discipline "Penalties" #5- Marketing the product #'s 1-4 - Jimbo its up to you! Hire some coaches who can get our DB's to hit and wrap up... Our DB's bounce off the opposing offenses like Bumper Cars at Busch Gardens, whatever happened to andre waters (ex- Eagles DB) when we had him teaching our Bulls they hit the hell out of you! QB, well Pat is a nice kid, I probably would invite him to the house for dinner however, Please find someone new... If we could find Hall at a Junior College then maybe our QB for next year is somewhere at a JC? Hey Dawsey teach the boys how to catch! If you can't then take your **** up to FSU... Penalties?? Why not tie a rope to each player's unit and have a flag attached so that hangs out the top of their shirts.... Then any time the players are late to class, meetings, or break curfew yank the crap out of the flag so players associate the idea that FLAGS ARE BAD!!!! Finally the marketing concept of "build the tradition" really fell short.... We need bodies in the stands: we need 2 for 1 sales, High School Teams invited (hell the 5 county area has what 40 high schools?) have a Team night where USF invites high school players, coaches, and THEIR PARENTS to the games, hell pass out 2-1 coupons after BUC games, OUR MARKETING DEPARTMENT IS AS CREATIVE AS A PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY SANDWICH!
