Wow we could easily 2- 5 headed into the last 4 games.. We get the best of the Big East in first 3 conference games.. Nice to finally have schedule set.. 3 home in Sept... 1 in Oct...... 1 in Nov.... Not that great a balance.

This past weekend the family and I went to disney for the weekend. I of course was sporting the colors most of the time, and I could not believe the response.... When I checked in at the hotel and was waiting in line and older gentlemen said, "Hey Bull Man welcome to the Big East!" I turned around and a man introduced himself and said that he graduated from Pitt and how happy he was that we were brought in... He also stated how he wanted us in the Big East since we beat his team several years ago... (That win to me was the most important win in Bull Sports History) Since I spent 15 minutes checking in we were able to talk quite a bit.... One thing he said was how the Pitt (Heinz field) was being replaced this year and that it was the second time in as many years??? He also knew that Rutgers stole a couple of recruits from us... We then spoke of rivalaries and how geographically speaking it might be tough, however he did seem to believe that the group of 8 teams in the Big East may wind up being a tight knit and well respected group in the end... When I finally checked in my room the guy two doors down yells to me, "Can't wait to put a beating on you guys when you come to Penn State!"... Of course caught of guard the only reply I could muster was, "Yea I think you said the same thing to the Big Ten at one time!"... As I walked through the park I bumped into 3 others sporting the USF gear... Also was taunted by 3 UM fans, and Finally was in line at Space Mountain and talked for several minutes with a WVU fan. The WVU fan seems to think that WVU, LVILLE, Pitt, and us would be tops and the others would be bottom feeders, he also said ECU is the next member...Well anyway it was pretty cool to actually feel that our bulls are now being talked about outside of TB area.... Sorry for long post! T-man

Wow the thing about all this that I can't believe is the fact that kids refuse to listen to their parents.... Yes I know the sage advice "Parents always know best" is a bit old but there is much truth to it... This kid is 17, he has flipped back and forth on schools, and stated LSU bus. over our bus. program.... I wish him all the luck in the world, but if he had trouble making grades and decisions while living at home, wait until he is 12 hours away from mom and dad.... I will be extremely surprised if he is playing football at LSU two years from now... I figured him as a 50-50 shot of playing at USF two years from now if he chose our Bulls... I am not bitter (like Ingram), I am just worried for RJF... Rickey- Mom and Dad know what's best!

PS.... As far as composure at PSU game, julmiste is NOT the answer.... I rather throw any of the others into frying pan, Pat just does not have it.... He is so freaked from last year I do not see him doing anything except holding a clipboard.... Maybe we can teach him to long snap (a tight spiral with high MPH's short distance, hey that's PAT!)

Hill will be on the field in some capacity if grothe beats him out.. He will be fisher-like, except he will be Bigger, Faster, Stronger, Smarter, and Will NOT have off field distractions! I say DENSON will start, Grothe will be back-up and Hill, well he will play every offense skill position each game...plus will be a returner for kicks and punts...

Yes Vader and followers, the sound out of Hates-burg last night was the mighty Death-Star taking a hit.... Yes I know it was just one hit, however when we make the c-usa tourney it will fall from the sky and the Darkside will be defeated!
