I am looking for the older intro video with game clips, including a Charlie Jackson kick off return that was broken into segments while music and graphics played. I loved that video and would be eternally grateful if there was a copy of it available. Thanks.

Check out some of the Ravens SmartVision clips They haven't yet posted the main team intro (to be unveiled on the 11th) but there are a couple of "prompts" on the list. Click the "play now" in the middle and then select "Ravenstown" on the Right. The "2006 main title" link is not active but the "Battle Stations" and "Power Up" videos are good. They have been pimping the new team intro a lot and have a link to a "filming of" clip. I wish they had some more of the nonsponsored stuff (their "move the chains" video clip was very good and had some innovative looking graphics) on the site but I can't find them. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/multimedia/default.jsp

EXACTLY!!! The fight song is too 'clowns in the circus' for me. I have asked people I have brought to games from other schools and everyone thinks it is bush-league. March victorious at least sounds inspiring! We need to drop the silly fight song and just stick with march victorious or develop something more rousing and traditional. By the way, Hail to the Victors is a perfect fight song: short, great lyrics, battle cry-sounding, and inspiring. We could do worse than to follow their example.

The Huskies aren't exactly old school. I think people have lost perspective. This is a 3 year plan, not a 1 year all-or-nothing chance. Better for the BE to have 3-4 top 25 teams. Whoever makes it to the BCS game will have proven to be the best team in the Big East. We all play each other. Whoever it is IS IRRELEVENT, THEY JUST NEED TO SHOW UP AND MAKE IT A GAME. That's all that matters.

As long as people are discussing Bulls Heaven, does anyone know anything about The Bull Ring. As far as I can tell it is the restaurant formerly known as Hops on Fowler Ave near Nebraska Ave. Not sure about the timeline for opening but in the last few months it appears they have been remodelling. Any further info?

Long have I dreamt of the day to see my Bulls on national (or regional ABC) high def TV. My plasma was manufactured, marketed, and purchased with only a single objective. From the first moment on the assembly line that the first plasma cell was filled with gas to the glorious moment it arrived at my doorstep, it has known only one lifelong purpose. For this, I have worked countless weekends and nights, forsaken having children (more to come on this subject...), and wept tears of anguish to my wife in hopes of procuring such a marvel of technology. All just to see my Bulls in HD. Imagine my disdain when I tuned in this season to INHD unsuspectingly, only to witness the CUSA high def game of the week and see UTEP, USM, Memphis, etc. But ABC HD? What wondrous deed have I performed to have such a glorious vision bestowed upon me? Have the planets aligned so meticulously? Is there a glitch in the matrix? A cosmic karma random coincidence? H2 in the form of the Hummer H2 could be used at every game and I guarantee it would catch on if it showed up on TV. TV folks would make it their business to know what it means if the entire student section had the signs. I also suspect the USF athletic dept would help publicize it. I think it is a brilliant idea along the same lines as C4 if Carlton Hill gets going.

I am referring to to Erickson. Butch Davis rebuilt UM and restored credibility. Erickson's regime included behavior issues and controversy. Davis is a tremendous recruiter and coach. And he ran a relatively clean UM program. I am still a fan of Leavitt and he is still on course.

He is not so great a coach. He took over a UM team that was head and shoulders above any team in the country and far more talented. When he left, they were much worse off. His schemes were one dimensional and his success was more a product of prior coaches efforts than his. His stint in the NFL was less than favorable. I don't want this guy. Let's see how Leavitt does over the next 2 years. This year is a rebuilding year and our first in the BE.

Steve, a friend of mine who is a Gator booster told me they are working with about 75 scholarships this year due to defections, transfers, suspensions, etc. I wouldn't know how to confirm it but I trust what he tells me.

It's crazy, but it just might work! To avoid confusion, there would have to be a graphic on the jumbotron showing a red towel inciting a bull and the bull charging and tearing through it. Or something similar? Just a thought.
