I realize that this has probably been discussed previously, but are there any NONstop flights from Tampa to State College, PA? How about to Harrisburg? Is there a group going (not a part of the USF package) on any particular flight? Just looking to share the flight with some brother Bulls.

Brad, I believe ESPN had Altron in the 90-100 range when BB was somewhere around 28-35. Seth did less with more.

I was one of those who said he had hands of stone and couldn't shoot. I also said he appeared to be best in the low post. All that was based on how he played early on. Clearly his game has developed very well and he has grown into his body. He is a tremendous player and I am the first to admit I couldn't see his potential. Good eye, Wagers. All the power to him and his mother. Go Bulls.

Mosely is in a far bigger battle than any BB game. I wouldn't count him in any line ups at this point. Just be thrilled if he beats this cancer. It will be the most remarkable medical story I've heard. Better than Lance Armstrong considering the type of cancer. All the power to you, Bradley Mosely. Stay strong.

jAs long as we're going down that road, better case scenario: Julmiste breaks out and has a great year. Leads us to the Big East championship and the Orange Bowl. Denson switches to safety and has 7 int's and is 4th on the team in tackles for the best defense in the Big East Hill redshirts and switches to receiver Grothe redshirts and develops Perriloux backs up Julmiste this year before winning the job next year. He has 2 Heisman years before entering the NFL draft and handing over the reigns to Grothe who makes All-American both years he starts and wins 2 national championships. Not bad, eh?

Capko runs the team well, handles the ball reliably, passes very well, and sees the court well. He doesn't score at all. Missed some free throws. I believe he is a very capable backup but without scoring, not a starter.

Let's lose the 2-bits chant. That stinks of foul gator stench and the last thing we need is to adopt their traditions. Which brings me to the turf graveyard. Nice idea, the first time I heard of it, 15 yrs ago. Wasn't it FSU? For a school who's mantra is "We don't follow tradition, we create it", can't we be more original?

Sadly, DAE is the Tampa Gator station. The biggest sports talk radio station in Tampa has a disincentive against promoting USF. Add to that, Sileo is a former UM player in Orlando that is broadcast in Tampa. What crap is that? There isn't even a local Tampa broadcast in the prime am hours. USF would be best served finding its way into the DAE programming. A Christian radio station doesn't reach the largest demographic for improving our fan base and stirring up interest. It is probably about the $ and UF will win this battle (at least for now). I still think there are things we could do on DAE despite this... 1. Coaches interviews 2. USF update 3. Advertise 4. partner with DAE for football games and other promotions I have long thought that our ascension in the Tampa market is limited by our talk radio and local TV exposure. I have also thought that not being on Sunshine Network has limited us as well. Thankfully, that is changing. Hopefully, our marketing is getting overhauled. Can't say the Bucs/Bulls alliance is noticable, though. BOTTOM LINE: Win and go to BCS bowls and this is no longer an issue. DAE, Sunshine, all the local media and even statewide will be approaching us for deals. Until then, we should seek them out.

And no, I am not the one planning this venture.
