    Correct. There is no margin for at-large bid. Need to win convincingly as well. I like Miguel but his shot selection can be iffy at times. Need him and CY to get hot in the second half.

    My favorite activity outside of watching USF win is rooting for these very mid “bubble” teams to lose.

    Give him a very competitive offer to keep him if attractive schools go for him after a successful NCAAT run. CAAR seems like a genuine and authentic guy and clearly loves USF, but this is a business. I don’t doubt for a minute that he’ll run if the offer and school is right.

    Open the war chest if the team makes the NCAAT and gets to the second or third weekend. Schools hire (in part) on a coach’s ability to go far in the tourney.

    Agree. Basketball is all about momentum. Keep up the high level of play all the way through end of season. The core group will take us far and we have a deep-ish bench to help with load.

    Pryor falconing that Serbian idiot was the highlight of the game. The regular season championship is pretty sweet, too.

    Someone get the refs specs, please. I didn’t know you could deck an opponent to the ground in basketball.

    We need to be NET top 30 at home or top 70 (?) away to be considered a Quad 1 win.

    Not sure how much it will move the NET needle but we need all the top teams to win out. Memphis win is now Q1.

    Many in the media are hyping USF and that will (in part) drive positive views of an at-large bid. Gotta win this game to keep the hype train rolling.

    I have no idea what will happen next but it’s always a good thing when the media sheds a positive light on you. It also makes being an alum / fan so much better.
