  1. I dream of a lineup with Dulcy, Mununga, Tsineke, Puisis and Pinzan. Wish we had Puisis last year.
  2. Great fight by our Bulls to come back from that early 1st qtr deficit, then continuing to battle until taking the lead for good late in the 4th. That Jasmine Smith from SMU is a gamer & made me shout things at my screen with all her big shots. Love seeing Asensio's ascension (ha). As others have mentioned, having just that little threat of offense from the PG spot helps our Big 3 get easier looks. Overall, a very intense game & a great one for CJF to get the record on. Congrats to CJF for passing Geno! Truly he is the Bull GOAT.
  3. Do hope they learn from this & play smarter, esp when the defense is all up in their face like Houston was in the 4th. Dulcy was a beast tonight, with a Dulcy Double (22 & 17). Interesting observation: Gonzalez played the majority of minutes over Brito.
  4. Good to know, thank you! Will def need her help next year with Dulcy & Tsineke graduating. Feels like a Leavitt situation. Runs a consistently successful program but people get tired of the same 'ol, same 'ol so they're looking for a change. If CJF ever leaves, I'm not confident we can ever match his WBB success. He's built a strong, international recruiting foundation that I feel we'd lose if he leaves.
  5. Good observations & insight on Priscilla, thank you! Def hope she can improve as the year goes on & be a main contributor off the bench. Can go a long way in our quest to get to the Sweet 16. Also, haven't heard/seen much on another transfer, McGee.
  6. Awesome job, ladies! Way to take control in the 2nd half. Puisis has been such a great, needed addition to this team. Heard on the broadcast she was leading the nation in 3 pointers made? Pretty awesome. Let's take back the AAC and then some. GO BULLS \m/
  7. An awesome, well-earned W tonight! Our 3 headed monster of Dulcy, Tsineke, and Sammie THREEsus came to play. My biggest worry for this team still stands. If DFM gets in foul trouble, or worse injured, we have no post presence like her to take her place. Stay healthy, Dulcy! And GO BULLS \m/
  8. Our bench is pretty much all freshman right now so doubt they'll get too much playing time in big games. Hopefully when Maria Alvarez gets back she'll help take some minutes.
  9. As miserable as this season has been, just beat UCF & the season is salvaged imho. I hate that we had a 4-0 lead in this rivalry & through our incompetence they have managed to surpass us.
  10. Point guard was a worry for me going into this season with Pinzan leaving. So far, Wilson looks to be able to hold her own. \m/
  11. It may be a Euro bball thing. I do recall on the TV broadcast Jim Louk mentioning that. Hopefully the international girls learn & change that habit quickly. \m/
  12. Way to get the W ladies with no Tsineke tonight! Carla Brito (26 pts, 10 boards) is an impressive looking freshman. Looking forward to hopefully several more years with her!
  13. New poster here. Created an account just to reply. USF WBB is the best thing we have going. They're the reason I pay for an ESPN+ sub from Nov-Mar. Shame WBB does not get as many posts/replies as football or MBB. It's like people only want to wallow in misery, when our WBB consistently wins, competing year after year! Let's support/talk about some winners for a change! Really liking the team this year. Felt we would drop off after last year, but CJF has done a great job restocking. Piusis is that deadly 3pt shooter we have needed since Laksa! Wish we had someone like that last year. DFM is a savage, front-court presence. My only fear is that after her, there is not much depth there, whereas last year we had Mununga & even Leverett. Hope DFM can stay healthy throughout the year. Let's win the AAC back & finally get to the Sweet 16! GO BULLS \m/
