  1. It's 12 points right now. I already placed a bet on the Bulls. USF will win this game!
  2. You are talking semantics. I said a little over a season and you are saying a season and a half. Bottom line is he destroyed the program and it didn't just happen at the halfway point of year 2. The destruction started before that point it was just masked by unspectacular wins over mediocre teams.
  3. Charlie Strong destroyed everything that Willie Taggart built in a little over a season. Also, he totally wasted what could have been a really good 2 years with Blake Barnett. I think Barnett could have been pretty good for us with the right coaching.
  4. Because rain and lightning can cancel practices. The IPF will allow players to resume practicing. Do you think the team won't practice outside when the IPF is completed?
  5. I have seen no mention of anyone depending on heat and humidity to win the game. Just a few, including myself, who believe the Florida humidity in early September to be a factor against a team from out west that has little humidity.
  6. I'm coming down from Georgia to see the game too. Go Bulls!!
  7. Well, I never said humidity will wipe out the talent discrepancy. The players for Wisconsin were overwhelmingly more talented than the players for USF. The talent level will be closer with BYU.
  8. So true. I can't believe some on this board think our weather/humidity won't be a factor.
  9. You don't think living out west with little to no humidity and traveling 2 time zones to Florida in early September with insane humidity won't have an impact? Cold is cold as opposed to hot is hot is not the same as sweat dripping Florida summer humidity that zaps your strength. It is the same as Florida natives going to Colorado and not being used to the lower oxygen levels at the higher altitude. They both can have an impact if your body isn't acclimated to it.
  10. We are going to beat BYU. That heat and humidity will be a huge factor as will our improved defense. I can't wait!!
  11. Great observation. I was really surprised Albritton wasn't recruited harder by other schools. I think he has a lot of talent and is definitely a sleeper.
  12. Miami doesn't really fit the mold of a SEC or B1G school. Miami is a private university with a small enrollment. In addition, they haven't exactly been lighting it up in quite a while. I believe USF has more appeal long term that Miami. Especially if we get AAU status.
  13. Still missing quite a few transfer players.
  14. The proof is in the pudding and you will see the marked improvement on the field this year.
  15. That is the where the problem lies. These national pundits are looking solely at our record last year and are upcoming strength of schedule. They don't follow the team with a fine-tooth comb like we do. We have analyzed every current and new player on this team with a microscope as the best we can. We can see the improvement and how almost every position has been upgraded. I've said it before, but this team will win a minimum of 6 games this year. That is the mortal lock of the century!!
  16. Me too. He has totally changed the culture and has brought in a boatload of talent. My concern is keeping him long-term after the breakout season we are going to have this year.
  17. I think this competition was decided when the first GRIT scorecard came out. Bohanon has been like a permanent fixture on that scorecard. Bohanon wants this starting QB job, expects this starting QB job, and has taken this starting QB job.
  18. Favorite USF Defensive TD? Ben Moffit TD against West Virginia. Favorite USF Defensive Lineman? Jason Pierre-Paul Favorite USF Defensive Linebacker? Kawika Mitchell Favorite USF Defensive Back? Mike Jenkins How long do you think you'd survive in a zombie apocalypse? Quite a while. I live on a lot of property in rural Georgia just outside Augusta. Locked and loaded!!
  19. I couldn't agree more. We have the talent to win this conference!
  20. I really believe we will have the best WR group in the AAC.
  21. The article says that in the process of soliciting the prostitute, the police officer was injured. That sounds like the Stanley Clerveaux that played for USF.
  22. Yup, we need to concentrate on what we can control. We can control the constant upgrades to our athletic facilities, we can control the building of the new OCS, and we can control our commitment to the success of our programs. If we produce winning teams, then the rest will take care of itself and we will be invited to a better conference.
