Amped for the game, sad that I didn’t buy more tickets earlier in the season. All That aside, I will be cheering for our bulls regardless.
I am not really a basketball fan, never have been. This team has gotten me into the sport for sure.

Thanks! I also found the tunein app as well to listen to it. I had tried the app before, but had trouble navigating to the ‘free’ section.

What a joke. Call their bluff and let the sec and big 10 break away to their own league. In 2 years, we can ask “ how’s that workin out for ya?”
Can’t wait for the National Super Bowl championship game of UGA vs KC Chiefs. I wonder if Taylor swift will be there?

I see some B1G schools are zero. Would I be correct in assuming that students then pay for tickets to games?

If we want to nitpick, the G5 with the most sustained success both in the current crop of G5 and even compared to the 4 who left is Boise State. But that proves your point. On field success is part of it. The other parts of Boise's profile make them less attractive so now they've been passed up on a couple of different expansion rounds. Before the PAC died they weren't even a front runner over SMU.

Here is an idea.
Each season ticket sold, is a free USF branded Stanley Cup thing that all those women are going crazy for. most season tickets sold.

The '3-3-2-2-1' model is one of a few being mulled by conference...If 3 teams are getting in, just kill the conference championship game.

USF needs more fans. We are a full generation or two behind many of the schools we compete against. We will catch up (and pass many) quickly, but in this case quickly is most likely 10-30 years.
Exercise: You find a genie's lamp and because you didn't ask for more wishes, the genie grants you 25,000 new, hardcore fans to USF. These fans buy season tickets, donate to NIL, go to 70%+ of home games and even travel at least once a season, and most definitely go to any playoff scenarios for the team. Caveat, they only support one team. It is up to you to allocate the 25,000 fans to each sport.
How would you spread them out across USF athletics?
My answer:
10,000 to football. This will all but guarantee home sell outs at OCS and respectable crowds at away games plus bowls.
5,000 to men's basketball. We were averaging approximately 3,500 before the magic started happening - add 5k and we'd have consistent home games of around 8k at minimum.
3,000 to women's basketball. Same as men's basketball, but slightly less.
2,000 to baseball. Averaging 3k+ for baseball games would be incredible. (I'm a baseball homer)
1,000 to W lacrosse.
1,000 to men's soccer.
1,000 to women's soccer.
500 to softball. (stadium is pretty full already most games?)
150 each to the remaining 10 sports.
Would be willing to sub 1-2k from men's basketball (we are currently selling those tickets pretty well) and allocate more to volleyball/beach volleyball, as well as golf. Not sure how many people go to college golf tournaments, but imagine having a crowd of 500 USF fans show up and follow the squads when there are no more than, say 30-50 (?) for the other schools.

I think the main urgency to get into a P4 conference at this point is not CFP, but the afterlife. I believe all of this will blow up in about 15-20 years and we will have conferences of about 10-12 teams again and we want to end up in an “ACC” type conference when it settles and not the CUSA or AAC type.
Little known fact, but you can’t get into Heaven if you aren’t part of a P4.

Per that article, the committee has said in the past that the timing wasn't a factor but it has apparently played a part in some higher ranked teams not making the Tourney. Bottom line, though, is the lowest NET ranked team to make the Tourney was a 77. We are still a long shot even if we win all the way to the conf finals but we would definitely be in the conversation until the end if that happens, I think, because of the timing of those losses.
Kind of like, if a team went undefeated, and then their starting QB got injured?

Here's an article outline the moves we've made in the football coaching staff.
footballscoop.com
FOOTBALLSCOOP.COMGood article, a few questions:
1. How were FIU’s CBs last year? I imagine he is also able to recruit down there.
2. Did we lose any coaches or was everyone reshuffled?
3. Will the Wiggles still be calling the plays? They were entertaining to watch, and I definitely wasn’t able to steal any signals so it must be working.

I know that there are at least 2 B12 schools that absolutely HATE the idea of USF going to the P4.
They would explode if the B1G ever showed interest in USF.
