    Almost the same exact story for me. I hyped up the team for her, how much I thought we were going to surprise everyone. Oh boy, were the people surprised alright! All she did was laugh for the rest of the game.

    Laugh at the drunks in the stadium. Like I said, I just like being there.

    Also true, but I do enjoy the games still. I just like being in those environments. There is excitement in the air until we get scored on and the stadium gets deflated. Maybe SMU was afraid to play Rice or UTSA?

    Going to the games are just fun. Even when we are losing I get entertainment from the really drunk fans and what they say. **** cracks me up. Winning is always better though. Always better.

    I mean SMU had a great program, then the NCAA gave them the death penalty. We didn’t deserve an invite over them. Plus they pretty much bought their way into the ACC which very much has the potential to be raided. So they are getting a guaranteed couple of years of stability and to have an outside shot at the CFP. By the time their 7 years of forfeited broadcast income is up, the best teams from that conference may very well be gone. Also, payout should be determined by where you finish in the conference. No?

    I don’t think that conference gets P5 status. Maybe if we didn’t lose SMU, Cincy, UCF, Houston AND we had WSU, OSU, SDSU, Fresno, CSU, Boise, UNLV, Nevada.

    Why don’t we start our own football league with the G5, but we have our own P2 with AAC and MWC and the Sun Belt can be the first out!

    Lol, how can you tell? Back to the CCS hire. From what I remember and the quick sentence about it in the article I read, was that the whole process was kind of messy and made our program look foolish.
