    Seems like, judging by this list, only 6 teams from ACC would be left. Also, 8 teams added from B12. wonder what happens to Ok stat, t tech, Kansas, k state in this scenario.

    Were they snubbed from a spot in the CFP? Even that is a stretch to claim. That season, I believe, they had a game against Ga Tech that was postponed due to a hurricane. That game was never rescheduled. During the regular season, I don’t believe they beat a P5 conference team. In the bowl game, they beat a team that most likely had all the players either sit out to transfer or be draft ready. Post season bowl game are dumb, the CFP ruined that fun part of college football. Two things are clear from watching CFP selection: 1. Any G5 team before this upcoming season had to have two undefeated seasons in a row to maybe be included 2. There needs to be almost no undefeated P5 teams to facilitate a G5 team being selected

    Idk, don’t really care about Timmy. He left, and we are better for it. He could have been a starter here, but doubt Byrum would have stuck around. We may have won enough to keep Scott too.

    That would have locked the other Power conferences from any significant westward expansion.

    He must have assumed that PAC would overcome their odd west coast elitism to be proactive and expand. Can you imagine if they snatched up TT, Ok State, Kansas; instead of imploding?

    I have an idea. Every 10 years (or dissolve all conference memberships. Put all DI football schools in a pool. The conferences then draft the schools for the next 10 year memberships. Flat rate tv contracts across the board for each conference. That way there is no poaching, or grant of rights. And in 10 years everyone gets realignment fever.
