It can get confusing though. Kansas City not being in Kansas, but instead in Missouri blew my mind.
Kansas city is in two states. To my knowledge tamu and college Station are only in Texas but in tricity area, unless something major changed.

Go to strike first tonight and punch back at Florida to know them down a step or two. We can't allow them to control play with the line change advantages tonight. Time to go all out to make this a series. It will be very hard to fight back if we are down 0-2 in a series with 3 games left in Sunrise.

Golesh didn’t start that at USF no matter how much you want to keep this up. CJF and CKE have had a winning culture for many many moons, along with others for a shorter span, and it’s disrespectful as hell to keep pimping CAG for some kind of a new dawn in USF Athletics after one year. He’s done a helluva job stopping the free fall football was in and hopefully will continue the upward trend.
Actually he did. His exact quote was "winning is the standard" at usf . No one else actually said it then did it . He coined the phrase and brought it to fruition. Now Billy mohl is a losing head coach that is on a losing streak. When your best regular season is by far year 1 and you are in year 7 as a coach; then it us safe to say it is a coaching problem. Six straight seasons of regression never coming close to the peak roster he inherited . He got really lucky on a super lucky tournament run on conference and the magic in the bottle ran out. Now we are stuck as a sub 0.500 aac team and don't have the pitching from a former pitcher turned coach to compete on a daily basis in year seven. This is unacceptable and should have already been fired . If golesg was this bad in year 7 and his best year was his first we all agree he should be fired. It should have already happened to mohl.

@Sk00b i believe that only 8 of 10 teams make the AAC Conference Baseball tournament.
We did not qualify a couple years ago, which was a joke!
Which makes mohl's super regional run even more lucky. He had a mediocre team that got hot at the right time, just to run out of gas and short on talent to finish. We haven't been back since which boils down to coaching and recruiting. In fact we haven't finished o.500 since then in conference or overall . Kf we can't finish at the top of the aac by year 7; then time to move on and fulfill the culture change that Golesh started winning is the standard. Right now mohl is everything but a winning coach.

Next year we should come out to Pantera- Respect against the U and blast it when we win. Glad to see golesh is pumping these guys up with some good metal to throw up the metal horns and for the Bulls.

Swaim’s just sent out a X/Tweet that he thinks big 12 schools are now a target for P2. We are well ahead of him lol
Well if they do not have an AAU accediation the B1g will not take them unless their comissioner is lying which is also plausible. They are the conference that protects child abusers and allows their coaches to abuse and prey on student athletes.

So they think TAmu is leaving the SEC for the b1g? I mean they couldnt win the SEC pre Texas and Okalhoma, so they want to move now and forfeit being in the best athletic conference?

Criticism of on the field results makes total sense. This sort of message board rhetoric is a joke ....
USf is currently batting practice for the worst team in the AAC. This is year seven of Billy Mohl Baseball and it isn't looking up. Getting beat bad by Rice three times in a row in equivalent to letting Temple blow you out 3 times in a row and drop 50 plus on USF in football. If we drop the FAU series fire MOHL immediately. The other guy can't really do worse than losing more games than you win and getting swept by the worst team in the conference who now moved up from the basement. If we can't finish in the top 2 teams by year seven, then we need to find someone that can.

WE are in year 7 and have had one season where we finished above 0.500 in conference ball,d one season we finished 0.500 in conference bal,l and went on a crazy lucky run tournament run.
year 7 Conference 7-8 confernece play 0.466 win percentage
At some point you have to agree you are what your record says you are as a coach.
Overall Record at USF 162-177-1 162/340= 0.476 win percentage
Overall conference record 54-75-1 54/130=0.415 win percentage in conference play
If you lose more games than you win you should be let go after 6 seasons. This guy was rewarded a seventh year he didn't earn and doesn't seem to have any fire lit under his rear to feel the hot seat.

" I feel like I just don't want to play for clicks. I actually want to be involved with a great-leading program that's going to develop players." His quote from his time with prime.

2024 Overall 21-19
2024 Conference Play 7-8
Overall Record at USF 162-177-1
Overall conference record 54-75-1
Sadly the team is terrible right now and playing above Billy Mohl's career average. His biggest supporter can defend this performance of getting swept by the worst aac team.
Winners win more games than they lose. We haven't had that consistently and this his 8th year. Why was he brought back after two terrible seasons with nothing shown last two years he can build a consistent winner. We were told by his number one fan that the guys love him and all go all out for him. Where is that? There is zero fight or life in this team.

It appears that the USF Baseball team has quit on Mohl. Pathetic performance this weekend.
Last year, I was all for Mohl getting fired as he obviously is not producing. Hopefully we make a change after this season so USF baseball can start anew!
He should have been fired already.

A new name to keep an eye on - Lajae Jones, 6-7 wing from perennial power Barton (Kan.) CC. Played as a frosh at Tarleton State and then was a Second-Team All-American for the JUCO national champs this past season. Averaged 15+ a game and shot 40+% from 3. Went to high school in Jacksonville.
Thanks for this. Hopefully the next batch of transfer will exceed the results of last ones. Good to see Amir is getting talent to USF.

That is a terrible looking stadium . Please do better USF. It looks worse then a lot of Texas high school stadiums.

Unless changes happens, we will be reciting same line next season.
We peak early and are back to the business as usual under Mohl.
Stop the streak. Show a pulse.

However we need some help on the D line, maybe we can convince him to get in the trenches since he is open to switching positions.
158 LB Dline is the new meta. A good offseason under the new strength trainer and he might hit 175.
This is a guy we should target. The coach that helped recruited him to the U joined our staff.

Let’s be honest with ourselves, this team is going nowhere. They’ve had a few nice moments, but no consistency. But we’re not alone - Miami is struggling, Florida is struggling. Maybe next season.
Do any of them want Coach Mohl? Last chance to lose our keys and go for a win.

This is embarassing tonight. **** we getting our fannie's whooped. GEtting destroyed at home to a 12-25 team and 3-9 in the AAc. Back to the Billy Mohl baseball special.

Dude you've gotta give it up. Baseball since Billy was hired has been a loser, outside of ONE postseason which we are all grateful for (also made the regional his first season as coach, so we can count that one). That super regional season we went 14-14 in conference play, finished 6th, then ended up winning the tournament which was our only way to get into a regional. He's been to regionals twice, and finished last in the conference 3 times and the overall regression line is negative, which means we are getting worse.
First year, second in conference (14-9-1), regional appearance, 34-26-1 overall
Second year, 8-16, last in conference, 26-27 overall
Third year, COVID year, no conference play, 6-11 overall
Fourth year, sixth in conference, 14-14, super regional (first ever, super cool), 31-30 overall
Fifth year, last in conference, 8-16, 28-29 overall
Sixth year, last in conference, 7-17, 21-39 overall
This year, currently 7-5 in conference sitting in third, 21-16 overall. Looks better than previous years and hopefully we can catch fire again. Unfortunately "catching fire" is the only hope for CBM lead squads at USF. They just aren't coached well.
All that said, Bulls Tennis vs #1 seed Memphis today at 3pm. I think these should be on ESPN+, so tune in (same with Women's tennis at 1pm against Rice).
