Right thing to do and end of the story, nope, just because you came in here with force doesn’t make it a fact. Leroy was a great man but he was not infallible and Judy is a clown, they set us back years due to this stupid decision.

Just stating that it’s a possibility.
Not exactly sure, but it will open up again . I read several different dates myself. May 1st was the date was listed on espn.

Good for him
So no one got drafted?
Nope. Still aren't there yet. Jeff Scott and Strong really set this team back in player development. Hopefully next year we start to get guys drafted again. I know we have seen this dance for too long. Hopefully dono makes the NFL and represents usf in the pros.

That series and Mac were mistakes ...... but nobody's perfect.
I'm definitely a homer on some things but not sure Brad would want me lumped in with him on this particular subject ..... btw, for the record, I've never heard anything about LRS being involved with Leavittgate.
I have never heard of that from anyone including former players.

First, Leavitt didn’t consider them a rival. Second, one of LRS’s few mistakes was scheduling those assclowns in the first place.
But Leavitt did go beat them everytime and understood the importance of not losing to them. Sadly Judy and her cliques never understand that. She neglected athletics and fired Leavitt without a plan in place to move USF Football forward. For example FSU fired Bowden, but had a real plan in to place to win when they hired Jimbo to take over who was an insider there that understood the team's culture and playing style. Skip Holtz had results every where but here. His personality and playing style wsa the complete opposite of the intense and aggressive teams that never quit that Leavitt coached. Teams used to be scared of the USF defense in our conference and out. Now it is near the bottom of FBS football and Golesh it trying to build it back. That is just my opinion and you are welcome to have yours.

Well what happened after both of them were gone? LOSSES and more losses! What is better going undefeated against the clowns or losing to them repeatedly watching them get moved up to a power confernece? Leroy and Leavitt would never settle for that.

WE aren't going down that easy. Sergachev is back and brought life back to this team. Lets chase bob out of net tonight.

That UCF win is not in my top 10
but the other ones you mentioned plus
Louisville ( was it 2005 when they were top 10?)
That first win against Pitt before we were in the Big East.
bowl win against Clemson and South Carolina
Win at West Virginia (2007?) when they were in the top 10.
All are good wins. I love hearing everyone's favorite wins.

The six game losing streak has been broken finally. THe rum to JOBU worked.

Maybe we need to talk to Jobu and bring him some rum; so we can break the streak and hold the lead.

That was definitely a top 10 win for USF when Leroy and Leavitt knew how important it was to beat your rival.
What is everyone's top ten wins of all time?
1) WVU at home with the Thursday night magic. IT was the best home game in USF history for me.
2) Auburn on the road
3) FSU on the Road
4) USF topping ND
5) 64-12 Massace of UCF

Lets effin close this out and break the five game losing streak. Time toget the Polk County kid Dorsey to finish this out.

Byrum has a chance to make it to the league. Of course he will be getting drafted from another team if he does.
If he has a big year again next year, he could leave and get drafted as a Bull. It is unlikely without some big upsets, making the playoffs, but possible still.

This has been an run for Tampa Bay Lightning.
If we lose tonight, then in our last 10 playoff appearances (so every season since 2013-14 except 2016-17) we'll have:
2 Stanley Cups
2 Final losses
2 ECF Game 7 losses
1 first round game 6 loss
3 first round sweep losses

Possibly but Bob is playing unreal the difference in this series. Kept the lightning from going ahead in game 2 and frim keeping it from being tied in game 3 with two save of year saves. The lightning can't be a deep as they used after 2 cups in a row, 8 straight playoffs and , 3 Stanley cup appearances in a row. The lightning still have the better franchise, but are on tbe downside due to a salary cap. The panthers will be in cap hell next year and won't be as deep. The lightning are a modern dynasty. You can't be on the top forever, but I expect the lightning to fight until the end. I wouldn't trade the lightnings history and accomplishments for the panthers ever. The panthers may win this battle ,but they aren't winning the rivalry war .
Tampa 3 cups
Kitty cats 0 cups

I've used the ignore function for a good handful of users here and it's great
Anyway back to topic
Both softball and baseball play today. I will keep an eye on the baseball score but will be watching softball at 5 on the plus. Some good, fun ball players on that squad that took care of business against a solid FAU team last night.
We looked better, but still not good enough to win. You win on the scoreboard and lose on the scoreboard. We should not be accepting losing at anymore point by a seven year coach especially after back to back losing seasons. THE had a great start and went right back to business as normal. I watched the whole game and didn't post anything bad about the loss or mohl until after it was over. I'm sick of accepting losing under Mohl .

The Ignore button is a blessed thing ..... in lieu of that, ya gotta know when to say enough is enough and be the adult in a situation. The back and forths that last for pages is kinda ridiculous.
Or just say the truth. He was wrong about Mohl and GB.

The fact that we got left behind has nothing to do with UCF. Had we remained a top tier team starting in the second year of Strong, we would likely be in the Big 12 now.
The additions of SMU, Houston, and UCF at the time made the AAC the 6th best conference in the country during their time. So their additions benefited the conference as a whole.
I guess if you care about maoing the aac look better , which i dont. I only care about usf and sucks we are here still. It was the ack of investing in athletics by judy and bad coaching hires is the reason we are still in the Aac. Holtz failed here but was successful every where else. Tags was a bad coach and road his legendary recruting class to get rich and exposed as a headcoach. Strong never wanted be here and failed to turn it around. Sadly he is one of three winning football coaches at Usf. Scott was the worsy usf coach ever. Golesh turned it around in year 1 and hopefully can keep moving the program forward. The only way out the Aac is to beat the teams on your schedule and make a case for USF football to any power conference that is interested.
