Possibly but Bob is playing unreal the difference in this series.  Kept the lightning from going ahead in game 2 and frim keeping it from being tied in game 3 with two save of year saves. The lightning can't be a deep as they used after 2 cups in a row, 8 straight  playoffs and , 3 Stanley cup appearances in a row. The lightning still have the better franchise, but are on tbe downside due to a salary cap. The panthers will be in cap hell next year  and won't be as deep. The lightning are a modern dynasty. You can't be on the top forever, but I expect the lightning to fight until the end. I wouldn't trade the lightnings history and accomplishments for the panthers ever. The panthers may win this battle ,but they aren't winning the rivalry war .

    Tampa 3 cups

    Kitty cats 0 cups

I've used the ignore function for a good handful of users here and it's great

    Anyway back to topic

Both softball and baseball play today. I will keep an eye on the baseball score but will be watching softball at 5 on the plus. Some good, fun ball players on that squad that took care of business against a solid FAU team last night.

We looked better, but still not good enough to win. You win on the scoreboard and lose on the scoreboard.  We should not be accepting losing at anymore point by a seven year coach especially  after back to back losing seasons.  THE had a great start and went right back to business as normal. I watched the whole game and didn't post anything bad about the loss or mohl until after it was over. I'm sick of accepting losing under Mohl .

The fact that we got left behind has nothing to do with UCF. Had we remained a top tier team starting in the second year of Strong, we would likely be in the Big 12 now.

The additions of SMU, Houston, and UCF at the time made the AAC the 6th best conference in the country during their time. So their additions benefited the conference as a whole.

I guess if you care about maoing the aac look better , which i dont. I only care about usf and sucks we are here still. It was the ack of investing in athletics by judy and bad coaching hires is the reason we are still in the Aac. Holtz failed here but was successful every where else. Tags was a bad coach and road his  legendary recruting class to get rich and exposed as a headcoach.  Strong never wanted be here and failed to turn it around.  Sadly he is one of three winning football coaches at Usf. Scott was the worsy usf coach ever. Golesh turned it around in year 1 and hopefully can keep moving the program forward. The only way out the Aac is to beat the teams on your schedule and make a case for USF football to any power conference that is interested.

If the Big 12 as a whole decides that adding USF makes sense for them, UCF will be powerless

Adding UCF to the Big East/AAC back in the day was a good move for the conference.

It was a good move for the teams that got out of the AAC Cinncinatti, Houston, SMU, and UCF. It was a terrible move for USF football. It has only lowered our brand and made the program worse.

I mean he is good, buuuuut lets be real, he isnt really getting sacks. I mean Jonathan Ross came from the FCS Bowie State and got more sacks and TFLs than him coming off the bench and he had some big plays in the process or turning

I think it means the talent golesh brought in is better or he got more money somewhere else. Either way he was a part of the change we needed and had some big parts during the year . Either way thanks for being a bull and fighting your way to a winning season.

This argument has always lacked merit and is silly.  If you hate another team then that is what constitutes a rivalry, proximity and similarities make it a no brainer. If you are scared to interact with them, don’t attend the game and watch it on TV.  Most of our fans would enjoy the contest.

We need to get some revenge on them for the Strong and Scott  era.  Wait ucf isn't going to invite usf into the b12 to build usf up to a better conference?

Do you get tired of typing the same stuff?

I do get tired of watching losing coaches given way more years than then earned by performance.  The only way to fix the losing for baseball that is to fire mohl and find a new coach.   Seven years in we are still losing  more games than we win in conference baseball . Zero excuses left to make for this losing coach . I'm not the one getting paid to lose . Maybe ad mk should extend mohl to motivate him. 🤔

  8. This is the Billy Ball special extending the losing streak. Is time to finally admit he is what his record says he is? The only way to fix this is get a better coach.

Overall conference record 54-78-1 54/131=0.412 win percentage in conference play

Overall Record at USF 162-178-1   162/341= 0.475 win percentage

2024 Conference Record 7-9 which sadly above his career average .

Overall 21-20 not good enough for a year seven and still above his career average.

We don’t have SMU money so don’t worry about that.  The B1G does need to get into Florida IMO, alumni and favorable road games coupled with a new big audience.  I personally don’t think there is a shot in hell but some of your best and brightest are wrong from time to time so who knows.  I could post a pic of me at the beach consuming numerous beers with my shirt off to maybe entice them to give us a look, to show them what they are missing.

Is your shirtless model glamor shot  before or after your shift at chip n dales?

To my knowledge, the Rays are the only pro team that actually does an official thing with USF.   That game in August where you get those USF themed TB rays caps (very cool by the way).  I don't know what the logistics of it are.  It may just be an alumni group thing, but it is something.  Maybe that can grow into something more.

Pretty sure the lightning did a usf night.

Do you read what you post or do you just ramble on with ********?    Rhetorical question.  Don't answer

So he had two terrible seasons in a row to follow it up.  He still is losing more conference Games then he wins. He total win percentage is still losing after 7 seasons. He hasn't shown he deserves to be coaching for a 7th or 8th season.

Still didn't answer the question, but I'll put this right here for ya

The Bulls defeated rival UCF, 8-7, for the program's first AAC Championship.

    THETAMPABAY100.COM

The University of South Florida baseball team awoke at just the right time, and because of that, the Bulls won their first NCAA regional championship in school history.

Are you watching the same bulls baseball as everyone else? We got SWEPT by RICE who was at the bottom of the AAC. PATHETIC

Overall conference record 54-75-1 54/130=0.415 win percentage in conference play

Overall Record at USF 162-177-1   162/340= 0.476 win percentage

If we lose the FAU series then AD MK needs to fire him immediately.

    That wasn't the question.

Golesh doesn't have a losing win percentage in conference or out of conference. If he did by year seven, I would have expected him to already be fired.  Winners win more games than they lose. Mohl isn't in that category.  Golesh improved the fbs count of the last three years from 300%. Mohl hasn't even matched the win count from the team he inherited. Team has been trending down since he took over and had some lucky super regional run.

Golesh- 7-6 overall . 4-4 conference. He coached guys up while mohl hasn't did that ever.  Prior 3 years to Golesh one fbs win and conference win.

    Mohl

Overall Record at USF 162-177-1   162/340= 0.476 win percentage

Overall conference record 54-75-1 54/130=0.415 win percentage in conference play.

    You didn't answer the question

Keeping telling us how great Mohl is and he is everything but a losing coach. Everyone but you knows he should have been fired last year or the year before without a doubt.

Billy Mohl  Overall Record at USF 162-177-1   162/340= 0.476 win percentage

    Year 1- 36–22 net 6 losses from previous  year 42–19    0.619

Year 2-  26–27    net 10 losses from previous year   .491 huge win percentage decrease

Year 3-  6–11   0.353 huge win percentage decrease

Year 4- 31–30 .508 super regional still not as good as his first season and went on a lucky tournament run

year 5- 28-29 0.491  win percentage decrease- 2 win regression

year 6- 21–39  major regression again  0.350 win percentage

year 7- 21-19 0.525    win percentage Still not good enough losing in conference play.

Overall conference record 54-75-1 54/130=0.415 win percentage in conference play

    Year 1 - 14–9–1

    Year 2-  8–16

    Year 3-  0 games

    Year 4-  14-14

    Year 5 -  8–16

    Year 6- 7–17

    Year 7-   7-8

Guy needs 21 straight wins to be average in conference play.

USF even with Billy's losing ways

1729-1410-6  Win percentage 0.5497 ~ 0.550 Mohl is drastically underperforming  and should not be coaching .  We have major regression from year one with  the program he inherited and are no where near getting back to being a winning program capable of winning 30 plus game consistently.  WE literally have had 6 straight down years . HE has had seven years to recruit and develop the team to his liking and he is producing hot garbage for pitching still. At what point can we call a spade a spade? Strong got two seasons of straight regression and was fired. Scott got three years of straight regression and was fired.  Gregory got four years of straight regression and he was fired. Why does AD MK favor this guy who can't build a consistent winner in year 7?

The stats and facts show he isn't a good or even an average coach. He can't hold his weight in conference play. Great  pitcher at Tulane, but not a good coach.
