  1. It felt like when I was in school o6 to 09 the student section was bigger and the stadium had a lot more fans. We are still recovering from departing from the big east and CJL. Ecu sent us a trojan horse in Holtz that we are finally rebuilding from and trying to gain more public support. This need's to be Tampa's team and all of the alumni need to drop their Fsu,UF, and Miami allegiance. I grew up with my family being FSU alumni on my moms side. Hell my grandmother rest in peace, taught there and went there way back when it was a women's college. My dad still is a Miami fan but I even get him to wear bulls stuff!  I go to the games and we see usf fans with other teams' gear on at the ***king game. The players and the school deserves better. We have to have our own brand and identity to win over the bandwagon alumni and local fans.

  2. I think our boys were hurt and we hadto grind out a win with the youngins. Playing time and experience goes a long way in development of the young players . Saban's is notorious for getting young guys time but he can do it for different reasons. I do believe many of offensive players are hurt and were decoys. McCants looked slower than usual.

  3. The win wasnt pretty but Strong made adjustments that gave us a win. The bulls have a long way to go and grow. Many of the top 25 teams had close games and some lost like VT to underdogs they should have killed. The season is a grind. We just have to keep fighting and battling through adversity. I saw a lot of bad but I saw a team that didn't quit on us. The play calls and offensive line need to.improve but ECU maybe better than we think based off their win of UNC.

We are not as good as board members think we are. We have not blown anybody out. We have not sustained success in the offense of defense. Our kicking game is a mess. Unless something starts to jell we very well could be looking at an 8-4 season.  Maybe the prove me wrong tonight but so far we are a new team that is finding their identity.

I do not think we are great, but we can win the division and are good.  We can score. We can improve the kicking game and run defense over the course of the season. There are teams above us that do not have two wins against power 5 conferences and are undefeated. The biggest weakness will be the kicking game. We need to find a guy that can drill extra points and kicks from 30 yards out. By our recond and SOS we belong in the TOP 25. I hate UCF but they belong at at least 6. They beat Auburn and should stay ranked that high until they lose to USF. They have a winning streak going on and so do we. The problem is p6 and big money don't care about the little children at the adult table begging for scraps.

Houston winning that game took a minor miracle (4th & 24), and that was a VERY good UCF team that beat us in a game we were in until the final minute. Illinois on the other hand, that was on Strong and company, and he said as much. He didn't have them ready, and it showed. Some on this forum rated the coaching an A for the first quarter of the season. I would probably go with a B mainly because of that Illinois game. They have shown the ability to make in-game adjustments though, and we're 3-0.

BTW, I don't see this as a 50/50 game. It's probably more like 80/20. If we blow this at home somehow, being 21.5 favorites, I'm sure you will have a lot more people backing everything you just said....

Let's be honest, if we still had CWT or CSH we don't make the adjustments lose both games. It wasn't pretty but Strong had our bulls fighting to win.

They are both in our conference, right? So whichever one makes it harder for us to be successful, it’s better to look good and lose than to have uneventful wins. Didn’t you see how much losing to UCF last season did for our program? Hopefully we can be lucky enough to repeat it every season until they can leave us to die in the AAC while we reminisce about how much more exciting it was to competitively lose to them than it was when we beat the **** out of them and left them for dead.

I want Tulsa to win so it gives TEMPLE in our division a loss. In the end all we need to do is win our game and focus on ECU. We have one opponent and one game a week. The bulls and fans should focus on one win at a time. The rest will all work itself out in the end.  We can control our own destiny by showing up and supporting our bulls that win on the field !

Leads team in Sacks and 2nd on TFL.

The keg always shows up when we need him to. He has something that you can't coach CLUTCH! He reminds me of my first truck's engine it ran really rough at first on start, but once you got it running for a few minutes it was good to go!

  8. We fought out another come from behind win. This time  we battled adversity and fought for a win on the road against another p5 opponent. I have a feeling if Slick Willy was coaching we don't come back. I think the run defense is going to haunt us all year and eventually we will not be able to come back and end up with a loss.
