  1. I have never heard of that from anyone including former players.
  2. But Leavitt did go beat them everytime and understood the importance of not losing to them. Sadly Judy and her cliques never understand that. She neglected athletics and fired Leavitt without a plan in place to move USF Football forward. For example FSU fired Bowden, but had a real plan in to place to win when they hired Jimbo to take over who was an insider there that understood the team's culture and playing style. Skip Holtz had results every where but here. His personality and playing style wsa the complete opposite of the intense and aggressive teams that never quit that Leavitt coached. Teams used to be scared of the USF defense in our conference and out. Now it is near the bottom of FBS football and Golesh it trying to build it back. That is just my opinion and you are welcome to have yours.
  3. Thanks for coming back for one last year to go out a winner and now it is time to go make the NFL Dono!
  4. BEst win of the last decade for sure. We broke the losing culture left by Scott and won a bowl game.
  5. It is going to be interesting to follow his story and progress.
  6. Well what happened after both of them were gone? LOSSES and more losses! What is better going undefeated against the clowns or losing to them repeatedly watching them get moved up to a power confernece? Leroy and Leavitt would never settle for that.
  7. WE aren't going down that easy. Sergachev is back and brought life back to this team. Lets chase bob out of net tonight.
  8. All are good wins. I love hearing everyone's favorite wins.
  9. The six game losing streak has been broken finally. THe rum to JOBU worked.
  10. Maybe we need to talk to Jobu and bring him some rum; so we can break the streak and hold the lead.
  11. That was definitely a top 10 win for USF when Leroy and Leavitt knew how important it was to beat your rival. What is everyone's top ten wins of all time? 1) WVU at home with the Thursday night magic. IT was the best home game in USF history for me. 2) Auburn on the road 3) FSU on the Road 4) USF topping ND 5) 64-12 Massace of UCF
  12. Lets effin close this out and break the five game losing streak. Time toget the Polk County kid Dorsey to finish this out.
  13. If he has a big year again next year, he could leave and get drafted as a Bull. It is unlikely without some big upsets, making the playoffs, but possible still.
  14. This has been an run for Tampa Bay Lightning. If we lose tonight, then in our last 10 playoff appearances (so every season since 2013-14 except 2016-17) we'll have: 2 Stanley Cups 2 Final losses 2 ECF Game 7 losses 1 first round game 6 loss 3 first round sweep losses
  15. Possibly but Bob is playing unreal the difference in this series. Kept the lightning from going ahead in game 2 and frim keeping it from being tied in game 3 with two save of year saves. The lightning can't be a deep as they used after 2 cups in a row, 8 straight playoffs and , 3 Stanley cup appearances in a row. The lightning still have the better franchise, but are on tbe downside due to a salary cap. The panthers will be in cap hell next year and won't be as deep. The lightning are a modern dynasty. You can't be on the top forever, but I expect the lightning to fight until the end. I wouldn't trade the lightnings history and accomplishments for the panthers ever. The panthers may win this battle ,but they aren't winning the rivalry war . Tampa 3 cups Kitty cats 0 cups
  16. We looked better, but still not good enough to win. You win on the scoreboard and lose on the scoreboard. We should not be accepting losing at anymore point by a seven year coach especially after back to back losing seasons. THE had a great start and went right back to business as normal. I watched the whole game and didn't post anything bad about the loss or mohl until after it was over. I'm sick of accepting losing under Mohl .
  17. Or just say the truth. He was wrong about Mohl and GB.
  18. I guess if you care about maoing the aac look better , which i dont. I only care about usf and sucks we are here still. It was the ack of investing in athletics by judy and bad coaching hires is the reason we are still in the Aac. Holtz failed here but was successful every where else. Tags was a bad coach and road his legendary recruting class to get rich and exposed as a headcoach. Strong never wanted be here and failed to turn it around. Sadly he is one of three winning football coaches at Usf. Scott was the worsy usf coach ever. Golesh turned it around in year 1 and hopefully can keep moving the program forward. The only way out the Aac is to beat the teams on your schedule and make a case for USF football to any power conference that is interested.
  19. It was a good move for the teams that got out of the AAC Cinncinatti, Houston, SMU, and UCF. It was a terrible move for USF football. It has only lowered our brand and made the program worse.
  20. If you want to to discuss each game individually only then make a USF Baseball Game Day Thread. This topic is Bulls Baseball Discussion and we are all sick of the losing under Billy Mohl and ready to move on to a better coach except you apparently. Now can the team shake the strench of losing and break the losing streak? I also never called for Caar to be fired. I have no idea in hell where you got that from . I only praised him for a fantastic job after moving on from another losing coach that was extended. The two most ignorant things are you thinking Gerry Bohannon was a good qb at USf and Mohl is a winning coach. The previous two coaches won more games than they won at USF, had a better win percentage, and and Mohl isn't cutting it. We are trending down since his first season outside of an uexptected career saving tournament run. Seven years later we are getting embarassed at home by RICE and FAU. We should be winning more games than we lose in conference no exceptions. I never called for Golesh to be fired. I said I thought Herman was a better hire, but I would wait halfway through to evaluate Golesh. The season wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. The team actually turned a corner and learned to win though. We we should be pissed about getting our rears whooped by UAB and FAU and take it out on the field next year . He proved he can coach guys up and win in year one. He had a 6 win increase from the previous year and a plus five total FBS win crease from the two coaches and last four years combined. Mohl in his first year lost six more games than the previous coach. Here is a comparsion of the previous two coaches to Mohl and Golesh. It seems Golesh coaches up from the prior coach and Mohl coaches down. Prado Kingston Mohl Year 1- 36–22 net 6 losses from previous year 42–19 0.619 Year 2- 26–27 net 10 losses from previous year .491 huge win percentage decrease Year 3- 6–11 0.353 huge win percentage decrease Year 4- 31–30 .508 super regional still not as good as his first season and went on a lucky tournament run year 5- 28-29 0.491 win percentage decrease- 2 win regression year 6- 21–39 major regression again 0.350 win percentage year 7- 21-19 0.525 win percentage Still not good enough losing in conference play. Overall conference record 54-75-1 54/130=0.415 win percentage in conference play Year 1 - 14–9–1 Year 2- 8–16 Year 3- 0 games Year 4- 14-14 Year 5 - 8–16 Year 6- 7–17 Year 7- 7-8 Strong Scott- not even wasting my time here Golesh
  21. You can remove yourself from the board if you like and take Mohl with you to the portal. It isn't against the rules to point out the number one Mohl supporter who is still not winning in year SEVEN. You were the only one the last two seasons saying how he was a good coach, the team loves him and deserved more years based on an incredible lucky run from a 31-30 season. We are still losing because we didn't get rid of him sooner. I would love to see USF baseball winning more games than they lose consistently, but it just isn't going to happen with Mohl as the coach.
  22. I think it means the talent golesh brought in is better or he got more money somewhere else. Either way he was a part of the change we needed and had some big parts during the year . Either way thanks for being a bull and fighting your way to a winning season.
  23. We need to get some revenge on them for the Strong and Scott era. Wait ucf isn't going to invite usf into the b12 to build usf up to a better conference?
