  1. Sounds like a few of us are really enjoying being bowl eligible this year. 😂

I'm heading down with the wife Thursday morning. We're meeting up with her dad and brother (both USF alum).

I have no idea what most of you look like, but I'll be the 6'1" old white guy in section 128 row H giving you all high fives for all the touchdowns USF is going to score.

    Let's go Bulls!!! 😁🤘

He seems like he’d be a great guy to just hang out with, huh? Golesh, too.

Funny story... At the women's game against N.C. State we were sitting in level 2 right behind Michael Kelly's box where Coach and his family were watching the first quarter. Coach had his back to the court during a timeout and the cheerleaders fired a T-shirt into the stands toward us with a slingshot. The shirt hit Coach in the back of the head, and he just turned, smiled, and continued his conversation with MK like nothing happened. Cool dude. 😎

Reid's averaging 4.6 assists per game to Placer's 1.3. That's what I like in a point guard and why AC's still one of my most favoritist Bulls ...

Reid also had 16 points last night. He blew by defenders in the lane and finished with confidence and elite skill. He's a freshman, so his game will only get stronger. I'm convinced some people are born with court vision, and Reid is showing he's one of them. Also, I think Reid played so loose last night because he had to be the man at point without thinking about Placer coming in for him.

  4. I've been really impressed with Pryor lately. He's such an enigma, quirky, energetic, and pretty darn skilled. He has been moving around like he's an NBA style guy.

The chemistry seems to be flowing with all the players the past two games. They seem to have started to trust each other more. I really like Placer, but Reid is just so dynamic as a floor general.

Hope they can bottle this up and keep on dominating teams!

I remember we used to give the late Denny Crum some serious grief back in the 90's when Louisville played at USF.    I remember reading quote from him that he used to hate playing at USF because the fans were so loud.  We never cursed at him, we just yelled at him to sit down every time he stood up.   We made a point to get seats behind the visiting bench to do that.   I guess we "ruined" it for future students because now those seats are reserved for the elite crowd.   😂

I remember you guys doing that to old Denny. I also remember him publicly hating on the USF fans. Good times... Good times... 😁🤘

I rewatched the FSU game and there were several layups that we missed one in particular by Miguel that I don't understand.

Why not dunk the ball? Is there a rule in college ball that discourages? I don't understand. I've seen this team miss many open layups this year that a dunk would solve the issue. Even possibly get an And 1.

What's funny is I specifically remember seeing Walker miss a contested dunk in the last game, and Miguel was motioning to him afterward that he thought Walker just needed to lay it off the glass to get the and-1. I'm betting most of the guys prefer a dunk over a layup when possible though.

    1. The ACC will pay out more money than the Big 12 over the next decade, even without their top teams because ESPN can't rework the contract just because the composition of the conference changes -- as long as the conference remains above 15 teams.  The ACC network will continue to grow revenue as it expands westward thanks to SMU, Stanford, and Cal, plus when the Big 12 contract expires they will face the same stark reality the Pac 12 faced - they are not worth the money they think they should get.   So the Big 12's next contract will not be all that meaningful.

    2. Also, the GOR will not "open up". The addition of three teams actually made this even more certain - there will not be 10 votes to disband the GOR and no court is going to throw it out.  Thus, the few schools leaving will be paying a ton of money to leave.  Louisville, Va Tech, Pitt, etc will not be able to afford the exit fees ... and they would have to give up their share of the money being paid by FSU, Clemson, etc -- which could be more than $1 billion in total.  By the time the cost to leave gets more reasonable in the 2030s, the Big 12 will have a new contract that will be on par with the ACC so even in 2032 or 2033 there won't be any real incentive to leave.

You can forget the Big 12 getting any current ACC team.

I'd say this is some very sound logic right here. 👍
