  1. Coming into the season I doubt any of us would have predicted that Pryor would be our star player this year. The announcers likened him to Chris "Bird Man" Anderson (https://www.nba.com/stats/player/2365/career), and I definitely see similarities. Pryor is an exciting dude to watch on the court. Can't wait to see what he does for us in future games.

Aarnio made a difference on the defensive side late in the game. If she is that good to put in late in the game in critical moments, why not have her in the game more often. Don't understand that at all.

Looked like an offense-defense substitution for Romi with 4 fouls. Aarnio definitely had fresh legs for defense at the end. 😀

  3. It also doesn't help that Johansson has been hurt and still seems to be recovering or is rusty. And losing Sammie speaks for itself.

Romi is stepping up big time, but she sort of cooled off in the second half tonight.

Carla was making more mistakes tonight than I've seen from her, but she never quit and made several key plays on defense.

    On to the next game...

  4. Early losses with so many new faces can be attributed to Coach figuring out the team and lack of team chemistry. Both of those seem to have improved greatly.

For those that might be unsure, don't be afraid to have positive expectations this season. It's okay. We are fans after all, and it looks like this team should beat a lot of the teams on our relatively weak schedule. Over 20 wins will not surprise me at all.

It has to be something internal with the team like behavior or team rules.  They would have said he was out due to injury or illness. He was on the sideline, but from the TV broadcast I never could tell if he was actually on the bench or was supporting his teammates.  I did catch him one time like he was on the stationary bike.  Wondering if this issue is over or just begining.

I was sitting in the 2nd level behind the USF bench, so I could see the stationary bike area. He did make his way over there frequently, but I never saw him on the bike. There is also a hydration station over there, and I saw him getting lots of fluids even though he wasn't playing. I won't speculate why he'd need to keep hydrating. He also seemed a bit tired looking, which could be due to various reasons. You'd think if it was flu or something that might be contagious that he'd be somewhere away from the team, but he was right there with them the whole game. Hopefully, he'll be playing next game fully charged.

  6. Blasigh finished strong. Led the team with 16 points, but only 33% from three overall. Still, was nice to see her going from meh in the beginning to clutch at the end.

Johansson also made an appearance, so hopefully that means she's nearly recovered. Meanwhile, Schipholt has been playing much better lately and looks like she is gaining confidence with each game.

Watching Jose coach in person is a joy. That guy might have a future here. 🙂🤘

Just horrible coaching. Foul to give and you let them get off 3 pointers. What say ye coach @Brad?

Kobe Knox actually seemed to be trying to give the foul near half court before the first 3 point attempt, but the ref either didn't think it was enough or he swallowed his whistle. Either way, it was poorly executed defense at the end. Glad they got the W. All's well that ends "win." 🤘
