    I can't see a team not being motivated on the field. Especially a large, successful program like Auburn. But I could see the way they plan and prepare being effected. Going from the SEC championship game and a playoff appearance to a Peach Bowl appearance against UCF could be demoralizing. Coaches could have used more time working with returning players for next year as opposed to fully preparing for UCF. Doesn't minimize UCF's win in my opinion, but something to consider.

    I think most schools/fans have a list of annual accomplishments to strive for: X wins, win over rival, division championship, conference championship, bowl win, playoffs, national championship. Matter of importance may vary. I don't think that striving for any of those things would lessen the desire to move to a P5 conference or change the system to allow a more realistic opportunity (expanded playoff) for all schools to compete for a championship.

    He's also projected as a top 10 pick in the MLB draft. Control may be an issue, he throws hard with a lot of movement.

    I agree with your points as they relate to a mid-major in football at this point with the potential to be a major. In other sports I believe we are a "major"

    McClanahan is a stud and there are a few other guys ready to step up on the mound. Replacing Merrell is the key, both offensively and defensively

    Agreed. I think Frost had something special and some great players at key spots. Doesn't mean that Heupel can't do it, but Frost was a special case I believe

    Can't do it over and over. I didn't look at stats, but I'd be shocked if our Oline isn't seriously outsized by TT's dline

    Very frustrating year considering the high hopes. 9-3/10-2 isn't bad, but sure feels like it.

    Playcalling is just awful. Has been all year and unfortunately probably will be as long as Gilbert is calling plays.
