  1. yeah, im listening. While I appreciate the commentators, I just would rather see it than hear it. Heard that Villlar hit a ball off the end of the bat that found a way through. Hope we keep getting the breaks tonight.
  2. I didn't get to watch this because the FB live feed switched pages mid AB and all I saw was the celebration by the time I got the new page up. The postgame show mentioned it was a robbed HR but I'm not sure that it would have left the yard or not but it certainly would have cut the lead in half.
  3. Well I only lasted into the sixth. But Shuster had some amazing shots in the third and the fourth to flip the game around and I’m sure that patterned continued. Go USA, Go Curling. #andnew #worldcurlingchapms.
  4. No problem. There really was just something in the air last night that called for a Fordham win. We hit a solid line drive but it bounced off the pitchers butt and the SS made a play to throw us out. Story of the night really Thanks to brad for setting up this thread properly. I originally planned to set up the article the way he usually does but all the hyper links threw me off.
  5. It really wasn’t their night. I remember in the bottom of the eighth we hit two line drives right at them they caught, them in the top of the ninth, they hit two identical balls that were about ten feet away from where we hit them and were hits. Just summed up he night for me.
  6. Going for gold in a little more than two hours. I’m going to start the match and will do everything I can to finish it. USA!!!!! Beat Sweden.
  7. I posted this in the baseball club, but this is what I thought about tonight. Disappointing loss here with the ace on the mound and a team we should have beaten, but not all negative. Thought we gave up the two runs instead of them earning them. Seems like we got a little flustered when they got a runner in scoring position. Looked like there were issues with the signs and then we threw a ground ball away with two outs to let the runner score. I'm not too concerned about the lack of offense tonight. We hit a lot of balls hard that just didn't find any grass. Phillips almost tied the game in the ninth, but the LF made a great play, which was a common theme tonight--we just didn't catch the breaks. The Fordham pitcher threw pretty well and did a good job working from ahead, forcing our hitters to fight up-hill battles. McClanahan threw a solid six innings, striking out nine, and only allowing the two unearned runs. However, the biggest positive for me tonight was Cruz, in relief. He gave us three innings, with two hits and no runs, while striking out four. We were all wondering about the pen this season and he looked really good tonight. He would have bridged the gap perfectly to Perez, had we provided the run support. Overall, I always want to see the Bulls win and we do need to start putting more numbers in the W column. Unfortunately, it just wasn't our night, but I am confident we will take the next two games.

  9. You can watch the game on Facebook Live or follow the link to listen to Bulls kick off the weekend series against Fordham. The Bulls will send the ace, Shane Mcclanahan, while Fordham will start Ben Greenberg. http://gousfbulls.com/news/2018/2/22/baseball-bulls-welcome-fordham-to-tampa-for-a-three-game-series.aspx
  10. Can’t have a bad day if you’re talking baseball. I’ll post stuff as I find it. I would love to see a bigger following for USF baseball, I think the program is very close to being a contdener and deserves the attention.
  11. For real. That would be like Canada beating our wbc team and the US WBB team in the same night.
  12. I wouldn't mind helping you out. Just let me know, unfortunately, I don't live close enough to make it to very many games but I try to stay as informed as possible on USF baseball.
  13. Wouldn't mind seeing it happen as long as they earn it and its not injury related. But I doubt it will happen
  14. I really expect us to sweep this series, really no reason no to.
  15. Taking on Team Sweden with a medal in hand. The match will be played at 1:35 Am on Saturday. http://www.espn.com/olympics/story/_/id/22541203/united-states-beats-canada-go-curling-gold
  16. So speaking solely as someone who could have a deeper conversation about Curling than WBB (or basketball in general). Ive seen a lot of talk about CJF and the question that still comes to my mind is, who is out there to come to USF? In the sport that I follow, there are usually about three to four names that could be available to programs looking. who is out there for USF? I personally believe that he should stay, 20 wins is tough and you cant base your success on UCONN, but for those who want to see him replaced, who are you looking at to come in? (if this has already been covered I apologize)
  17. Thanks, yeah I expected this to be the case. One upside to it is, at least for the most part the walks are coming out of 3-2 counts. At least the pitchers are battling, I know this doesn't cover all 12 of the walks but its still a decent sample size. 27 walks in 4 games is just not going to get it done in the end, More walks than innings pitched is going to get you every time. Tough lineups make pitchers try to paint more which can lead to borderline walks, not saying that is the case here but hopefully the pitchers take advantage of the breather that Fordham offers. No offense to them but I doubt that batting order is as stout as the two we've seen thus far.
  18. yeah, Shuster is good, I thought he took some chances that might have put us the position to be in the extra end, but certainly a great skip. His final delivery was pretty good considering what was on the line but he had a delivery in the I beliveve the 4th or maybe the 5th, where he double tapped and barley scraped one of ours to give us two points and one point lead. That was masterful. But you cant deny the sweeping power of Hamilton.
  19. he might have, I think they attempted a pretty difficult draw shot and whiffed. I think it was Shuster. he did a lot of the delivering that I saw. I still don't know how the team determine who delivers. Still a little new to the sport.
  20. yeah, I got a little worried when he bumped that guard early.
