CBM is great but with a pitching background I hope this gets fixed fast.
We just don't have a staff that can start from behind like we did this weekend. We really need two strong starts on Friday and Saturday. Not enough depth in the Bullpen to do anything about two starters not making it past the 3rd.

Perez gave up too many runs.
We over taxed him out of desperation.

We gave this one away. The time limit more or less saved us from finishing the job. I feel relieved we left with a tie and not an L.

Not a very good job bunting. Might cost us in the end.

Yager has been impressive this season. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him in the weekend rotation next season.

Definitely. Just wish I would have seen a little more command in the pitching. Especially on Friday. We get the series win and all is golden
Offspeed command has been an issue. You have to be able to battle this lineup with two pitches.
We also have a pretty tough lineup though and t comes through for us more often than not.

Down 3-1 going into the second inning. Our pitching has struggled this week. Not the best time of year to have that problem.
Its' been a hitters weekend. Two best hitting teams in the conference will do that.

Well this isn't looking good.

We can take sole possession of second today.

It should be evident by now that the Bucs hate USF.
Yeah, but i'm sure a lot of colleges feel that way if they share a city with an NFL team. I

BULLS FALL TO THREE-TIME CHAMPION TULSA IN TITLE GAME
USF's thrilling conference tournament run ended with a 4-1 loss to the three-time champion Tulsa in Saturday's title game.
The Golden Hurricane (33-23) loaded the bases immediately in the first inning, but USF (38-2) limited the damage to just one run. Tulsa added three runs in the third inning, and USF responded in the bottom of the fourth with its only run of the game.
Senior Astin Donovan (Guilford, Conn.) got a single past the left fielder and made it to third, setting up for a sacrifice fly by junior Lindsey Devitt (Jacksonville, Fla.). Donovan went 2-for-3 in her 18th multi-hit game.
Three Bulls were named to The American All-Tournament Team for their performances. Senior Lauren Evans hit the game-winner in the Bulls' 2-1, 12-inning battle against UConn in the quarterfinals, and had a perfect 2-for-2 performance at the plate in the semifinals against Memphis.
Junior Macy Cook hit a three-run home run that was crucial in the Bulls' semifinal, walk-off win over Memphis on Friday. Cook had four RBI and 12 putouts in the tournament. Junior Lindsey Devitt had a solid weekend for the Bulls with six hits and two RBI. She went 3-for-4 in USF's quarterfinal win over UConn.
Key Stat
18 – Astin Donovan completed her 18th multi-hit game. She went 2-for-3.
Notable- This was USF's second appearance in The American championship in the last three years
- Tulsa has won The American tournament for three straight years
- The only other team to win the conference tournament was Louisville in the inaugural championship game in 2014

USF's latest RPI ranking is No. 42, and the Bulls will watch the NCAA Selection Show on Sunday at 10 p.m. to find out if they will receive an at-large bid for the tournament. The show will air live on ESPN2. -
Tough conditions for the defense today, both sides mis-judged fly balls as the wind played a key role today. Not a stellar outing for PS but he battled past the second inning breakdown and kept them at bay. You really have to be able to place your off speed to get their line-up on their heels if you want to be successful. He struggled with that and fell behind in the count.
Another key was limiting Bohm, Troutwine and Jenista to 1 hit, including a hitless Bohm. Can't downplay that.
Great win nonetheless, we needed it. On to Sunday

I like the move to Cruz, they are really good FB hitting team and he is what the announcer called " a right handed slider monster".

We are on pace for 22 hits!

Seems to be settling in somewhat....
looks like it. He looks like he is finding his release on his breaking stuff. After he throws it you can see him kinda replicate the release then tap his chest in a my bad kinda way.

Nice bounce back inning by PS.
-
We need Pete to settle down. Can't start an inning with a walk.
-
looks like the defense is struggling to see the ball off the bat.

Is this where you guys say “what the hell is wrong with the Bucs?”
They get a pass on this one. To much depth at that spot now.

For sure, he has to get out of the 8th, I’ll also rephrase to say we over taxed his effectivness not his arm.
