  1. I wasn't a big fan at first, but after the last game, I like Marsh a lot. His arm looked awesome. But he needs another year or 2 to get ready. I'm confident in him.
  2. Once again, I never understood miserable people on this board and in real life. Just be miserable by yourself. Why try to drag us in your abyss? Facts - There are many teams that sucked and eventually turned **** around and became a good team. I believe USF will be one of them. If you don't want to believe then why bother be a fan? Just give up already and go find another team. I read in a thread somewhere that Coastal Carolina and Liberty are better programs. Maybe you can buy their gear and start rooting for them. UF if playing pretty well. Go ahead and support my Alma Mater. You can take my place since I no longer follow Gator football. Either way, go be happy my friend. Stop dwelling in negativity.
  3. There is nothing to point out. You recruit players through the transfer portal and high school recruiting, help them develop to become players that help you win. This move down to division 2 football is some sorry ass subject derived from a fan that has lost hope. I get it. But lose hope by YOURSELF. Most of us still have high hopes and will hang on to high hopes until we start winning again. If you want to be a quitter, than quit on this team by YOURSELF. Stop trying to drag positive fans into your depressing abyss. Go be a miserable fan by yourself or start a thread for miserable USF fans.
  4. Once again, there are plenty of other teams that has sucked forever. It baffles me how certain USF fans cant accept that sometimes teams go through long losing periods. Quit crying and crapping on ur team and just wait for the success. Either that or go find another team.
  5. I havent heard any bad things about him in practice, didnt throw an interception during spring camp...hell he even said he had the best spring camp of his career. I just cant figure it out.
  6. Pat White is our current RB coach. He was also Noah Johnson's QB coach when NJ was the OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR at Alcorn State. To me, CJS should have utilized this dynamic from the start and made a game plan for NJ to lead the team this year. Im sure Pat White had enough knowledge of Noah Johnson to get the most out of him and help CJS develop a game plan. To me, there was so many more advantages to starting Noah over the other QBs. Noah also stated that he had a great camp without throwing any interceptions. Yet for some reason it took CJS 6 games to give that man a start.
  7. I realize that I was kind of hard on Blake Barnett. He is a much better player than I gave him credit for. He would have shined under CJS.
  8. 1. McCloud transfers out during offseason - Agree 2. Johnson stays for next season, but loses his starting job early in the season - I don't think CJS really like Noah Johnson. NJ had too much going for him for CJS to not select him as the starter this year. People forget that our running back coach Pat White and one of the best BE QBS ever was actually his QB coach when he was at Alcorn State. So to me, why was Noah Johnson not given the starting job from the start? (no pun intended) I would like to see him back, but don't think he will be welcomed unless he dominates these remaining games. 3. We win 6 games and go on to a bowl game, where we lose - AGREE. I think we win 8-10 games. As disorganized as we are, we still came close to 6+ wins last year and could have been 3-2 by now had we played our cards better. we are a good QB, (2) Good DTs and 2 good DEs away from being a good team. I think our o-line will get better next year. Incoming transfer Demontrey Jacobs is getting acclimated to real D1 football and should be much more dominate next year. 4. we beat UCF next year in an upset - Agree - Hell i feel we may beat their punk a$$es this year, but definitely next year! 5. All of our commits stay and don’t flip to other schools - I hope. we have a nice running back coming in. I hope he stays 6. we get a surprise 4 star transfer - I think we get at least two 4 star transfers and a few highly rated 3 star transfers. With 7-12 players transferring out this year, we have space to add some talent.
  9. That's how i feel. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to CJS. He has been around a lot of great players from his time at Clemson, so he must have a nice internal database of what transfers to target. We need a DT, and faster DEs and we should be ok. I like our current linebackers and DBs.
  10. I made a transfer portal thread. But here is who has transferred so far. Most recent Transfers: Jabreel Stephens Nick Roberts Eddie McDoom Armon Williams Tae-Avion Gray Jernard Phillips Josh Berry
  11. We lost 7 players to the transfer portal, we have room to add some incoming transfers
  12. Most recent Transfers: Jabreel Stephens Nick Roberts Eddie McDoom Armon Williams Tae-Avion Gray Jernard Phillips Josh Berry We are at 7 players. My Updated picks - John Waller Jordan McCloud Darrien Grant Tyrone Barber
  13. I thought he was getting kicked off the team?
  14. We have a commit who is 200Ibs, runs track and is was averaging 28 yds per carry for the year at some point late in the season. Buddy's name is K'wan Powell. Hopefully he sticks with us.
  15. I like CCS think the problem with his regime is that the environment became toxic with the coaching staff and players. I think if he started off with Kerwin Bell and that last staff he had, he would of had more success. Sterlin Gilbert to me is the main one who kind of set off the toxicity in the locker room. I never liked buddy as a coach. He always has this arrogant look and has nothing to show for it. Anyways, I saw some videos the players posted on social media..... You would be amazed at what these players post or use to post. I think CCS had to go. He lost the locker room.
  16. LOL You destroyed SilverBull's quote with with that one lol
  17. FAU's QB sucks ass, but Levitt has that defense gon point. I bet you Nick Roberts transfers there next year.
  18. Maaaaaaaaan. It's too late for me to edit my last thread, but I forgot to add this to my list. It baffles me how CJS has not played him as much this year. Battie should have been starting from day 1. He is clearly our best running back other than Ford. I still like Joiner, but he doesn't have as much "torque" as Battie. He has a lot of horsepower, but needs time to reach a specific speed.
  19. I think everybody is chopping it up as him being a first year coach and looking ahead to next year.
  20. I am not saying we are a good team, but the level of krapping on your own team is at an all time high. This site has become quite depressing. For a bunch of Tampa Bay Buccaneer fans, you guys should be much better at being fans of losing teams. lol Since we have "members" making threads talking about how Liberty and Coastal Carolina makes them feel "aroused", I thought I should try to be a little more positive about our current team. Puc kind of opened my eyes to a few things about this season. I'm not going to throw CJS under the bus, but I feel he failed us this season and I'm going to chop it up as he is inexperienced or "green" like Puc said. Puc is right, this team is good enough to at least be .500. CJS and Weis have been the biggest disappointments so far. I will still keep faith in both coaches....for now. Season notes - 1. Two of our losses came by 2 pts or less 2. If you see my screenshot from the Cinci game, we held them scoreless in the 4th quarter and was only down by one ONLY one touchdown in the 3rd quarter. 3. How did CJS not know that Spencer Shrader was so great at kicking field goals? Shrader connected from 49, 47, 41, and 46 yards. I would have to put that in the top 5 field goal kicker performances of all time lol How many field goals we passed up on this year b/c CJS did not have faith in any of our kickers. 4. I'm going to reiterate, had we hung our season on Noah Johnson, I think the vibe of this season would have been different. I expect us to be better next season. After all of the deadweight transfer or graduate this year, we will have to hit the transfer portal hard and get us some better players. For some reason many of you hate that topic but why? Most of the transfers from the past 3-4 years have done well here. I only wish we can get Patrick Macon and Slade back for another year. This year we have Demontrey Jacobs, Thad Magnum and Noah johnson who came in here and have contributed greatly. I expect CJS to hit the portal and fill some holes in the offseason. as for this year, I just want to beat UCF and if we do will count this season as successful.
  21. I'm begging to question CJS "evaluation skills" b/c we have sucked at field goals all year, just to find out we always had somebody that can kick multiple 40+ yd field goals all year. Did he not know Schrader could do this? Also, it was evident from day one that Noah Johnson was better than McCloud (The jury is out on Fortin) so why did it take so long to start him?
  22. I mean we went from having try outs t our kicker kicked (4) 40 yds plus field goals. I hope Noah watches the film and learns from his mistake last week. He had a handful of runs possibilities he passed up on. He could of easily had 100 yds the last game.
  23. 1) The winning team - Da Bullz!2) The final score - 37-353) Bulls leading rusher - Battie4) Bulls leading receiver - Devontres Dukes5) Bulls total offensive yards (closest without going over) - 400 yds
