  1. I think 300M is too much and although we could spend that much. I believe a third or half of that would give us something to build upon. The bounce house was 55M when it was built and in 2020 would have cost around 70M according to the company that built it.
  2. What is the going rate for an OCS that holds say 42K-48K fans? 90M ? I would think that the money from ticket sales, concession and merchandise would help recoup that money very quickly. That's how to show us that you truly want to put a product out there for the fans and make it our own. Not some rented out TSA experience. Yes its an NFL stadium but it is not the same experience for the players or the fans.
  3. Yeah, it has grown into a let down, some of us may never see how everything plays out in our lifetime and that can be quite depressing. I have followed USF since the 80s, been a part of the original death row in the 90's and dreamed of the day we got college football. However, I will admit it was simply amazing at how fast we initially climbed which in hindsight may have actually slowed us down. We just need to stay weather the storm and keep going forward.
  4. I would sell my soul to have a punishing defense that could actually affect the game. Too much emphasis is put on scoring points and I get that. However, I am afraid with the way games are called and the rules you really can not play defense anymore. You just hope you can stop teams for scoring just enough to outscore them. Football is supposed to be a violent sport, I see more contact and hits now in Premiere League than our brand of american football. They should give defense an extra person to make it fair.
  5. We should never forget. Also did I hear right today that we do not allow former players onto the sideline unless the played in the NFL. If this is true where did that come from and how insulting is that for those that laid it out for this University? What kind of culture and tradition does that build. We could use some of these past players to help pass on experience to help tell the story and grow the legacy.
  6. Yes I think the landscape is moving much to fast at this time. We can not even stand firmly on the ground yet much less walk or run. We are all measuring USF as a failure simply because we have had 4 losing seasons at the worst possible time. However, the things that we have achieved such as becoming a preeminent university, and growing our endowment to near 700 Million dollars which is only 9 million dollars behind FSU speaks volumes to how much this directional named university has matured. We all just need to breathe as things happen for reason and there was no way we are ready for any new athletic challenges. It cant just be the fault of men's football, it can fall on CJS, it cant fall on this administration, and it can fall on the fans. However, it does need to be up to all of us to be accountable and control what you can. As a fan base we have been quite toxic today, and really kind of showing our a$$ as poor sports. We sure are not acting like we belong we have some growing up to do.....
  7. Exactly Brad! Those of us on the outside truly do not know what the real vision is from the powers that be. What we see is what we got at the moment, and we can stop pretending that we all have the same vision of wanting a university where kids grow up wanting to be a USF Bull. Or the reality that we may just strive to be a well respected for our academics.
  8. Its crazy to think that this is the end of USF football. Which it is not. We are just setting our expectations that we deserve to be there in the big conference with a shot to compete in a bigger spotlight. We simply are not ready. If we cant get some of the recruits now because we dont have all of our facilities now, we cant win. If we cant consistently win now, how do we do that on a bigger stage? We must look inward first and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing. We need to be the best version of USF that we can be. Then we can step back and say if that isnt good enough then it is what it is. Everyone needs to just do their job! The Board and President need to make fiscal decisions that make sense, they need to identify coaches that have a passion for what they do and bullieve in the potential that can wake this sleeping giant. Coaches that just go through the motion for what the money says are not what we need. Our students deserve to have a great on-campus life-experience, along with a gameday experience otherwise why have athletics. The pride is missing all around. This is part of the huge disconnect and the difference between the opportunity that UCF now has before them. The alumni, students, city have all been fighting to build their brand to be heard. Living in Orlando the last 20 years I have seen it first hand, even when they are losing they support. It may not show in attendance, but they fought to grow the program, their pride, and school spirit.
  9. is to admit that we have a problem. We want immediate gratification to be something that we are not ready for. It does sting to see our program is going to get passed over on what we all fear maybe the last realignment in the near future. College Football is a business now more than ever, and our administration never fully bought in to that concept and the doors that football would open. Well, ee are now reaping those rewards, or lack there of. We can whine complain how UCF has passed us by, or because they are winning now and we aren't. The fact is they have invested into a bigger vision of campus life, the student experience, and college football. As they too could have quit when times got tough and they were a joke. Those investments are now paying off for them. I say good for them. We focused on becoming one of the preeminent universities in Florida, and that is a great foundation for our Athletics to build off of, and for USF to continue to grow. They are several years ahead of us in their development. We started as an Independent in football during the 2000 season. Since then we have moved from the Metro Conference to Conference USA, to the Big East, only to have that conference fold. We are now entering our 9th season in the American. We need to remember that we have accomplished a ton in a short amount of time without, putting all of our resources behind us. We have been to 10 bowl games, winning 6 of those in our first 21 seasons of our existence. We have won at 60% of our games played. We were the youngest program to EVER reach a national ranking of number 2 in the country. That speaks for itself, and times like these it shouldn't matter at all. We should be hungry for more. I agree with the Sheriff this program was built on a certain attitude and belief we had to fight to belong. Maybe somewhere along the way we became complacent and felt we were entitled to the bigger athletic program lifestyle. We would never be intimidated and we would not back down from challenges that were laid in front of us. We simply have lost our identity of what it meant to be a USF BULL. Seems a little foolish to get all this way and stop believing in our University now. I know the results have not been there the past few years (football), but we must be realistic with the expectations. We have other programs that are doing great things in their arena, we just need to keep growing our brand. We need to look to the future and push USF higher in academics and athletics and we will end up where we are supposed to be. Death Row should not have to make a Tombstone that we lost to our-self! GO BULLS!
  10. Yeah there are 9 Corporate stores throughout Orlando. There are also several locations throughout the state that were franchises. I will be at the Hunters Creek location until my store in Saint Cloud is finished towards the end of this year. I believe our menu is much better and we have great drink prices as well.
  11. Actually our restaurants have no affiliation with the University of Florida. If your thinking about the Gators on Johns Pass wrong place!
  12. Attention: ALL BULLS FANS and ALL ALUMNI in the Orlando and Kissimmee area. Are there any locations lined up for Bulls away games for this upcoming season? Where does everyone go? What kind of specials do you receive...etc..... Would like to offer up Gators Dockside in the Hunters Creek Area for the upcoming season. I know Kdawgy as I use to manage Millers Ale House in Winter Park. There were a few good turnouts back in the 08 season, especially the pregame to our UCF OT win in Orlando! GO BULLS!!! Matt T Long Live Deathrow!!!! 1996
