I agree but, you don't need it all at once. Start with organizing events to be paired up with each home game and start making your traditions. We have an incredible advantage over many schools in our location. We need to advertise ourselves as part of the community by inviting them in and getting them to stay for the games. If you do something enough times, it becomes a habit.

I think you've inadvertently stumbled onto the answer to your own question, "Pageantry". We have none of it. We lack history, OCS and Fan Fair. That is what must be developed over time. We must encourage participation make each season a series of events leading up to the games themselves with scheduled events and family friendly parties. When it comes to fans, encourage inclusion to win them all. Get the little ones in so they can grow with the program it's self. Use some of those advertising dollars to advertise events centered around game day. Taste and cook offs from local eateries. Have games and prizes sponsored by the Frats and local companies. Get everyone involved and watch the community grow together.

Urm, refresh my memory here. Whom ran all over us and scored multiple TD's against us? FSU scored 6 Running TD's, 1 Passing TD and 2 FG's and yet they were running to run out the clock and not score. Excuse me while I post some signs on some swamp land prime real estate to sell you.

^This and how about not ******** on the few fans that you have when; 1, There's a huge freaking hurricane effecting most of the eastern part of the state, where many of these students parents and family live. 2, Trying not to have multiple sporting events on the same day competing for interest. 3, Noon is ******* hot in Florida until around X-Mas. 4, Try to interact with groups to encourage group/fan participation. I could go on but, I'll stop here. Just look up the Lightning's plan and go from there.

What about the Bucs and Rays **** attendance? Oh wait, they're professionals and as such it can be over looked. Our media personnel are crap.
