What a stupid rule.  If you can't continue to play, then they should blow the play dead.

Yeah, let them play and get head injuries.

 

 

If you are that worried about head injuries then you should blow the play dead when someone's helmet comes off.

 

 

 

And then what? Is it a do over? They don't blow the play dead on non-penalties.

 

 

So obviously your concern over head injuries isn't THAT serious that you're willing to stop the play.  What is he supposed to do, stand there like an idiot?  What if someone runs into him?  On accident?  Intentionally?
