I remember asking for no turnovers by our team and they did it!  I'm proud of them.

Grateful for the win, but they were blessed way too many mistakes. They forced five turnovers and had numerous opportunities in the beginning of the second half and the fourth quarter to put this game away. Bad playcalling and really terrible defensive backfield play kept FAMU in the game

I think Byron Brown is a stud but he needs to become a little bit more patient in the pocket and wait for opportunities to arise however the offensive Line still needs work that may be a reason why he’s a little antsy in the pocket
on a positive note, the run defense is significantly better than last year and if they can improve the pass rush This could be a really good defense

I have to say I was not impressed tonight. The defense had some turnovers but let FAMU drive the ball consistently. The offense struggled at times especially running the ball, protecting the quarterback, running routes, and catching balls that end the hands. I know this fast offense is going to take some time, but I expected a much better offensive showing tonight. Brown has been our best player and he is struggling with accuracy and over throwing receivers. There were two clear overthrows tonight that could have been touchdowns. The receivers also are not running good routes at times, some of them don't have their hands extending out when running their route missing out on opportunities to catch easy balls, and not catching ball that hit them in the hands. I have noticed that Brown's throwing motion has changed some since last year. The offensive line is allowing our quarterback to take a beating and he is pretty tough for hanging in there while and making touchdowns happen. Brown is a better runner than I thought, but the passing game has to get in sync.  The team is very undisciplined. I liked the aggressive of going for it on fourth down. I am happy we did not lose, but expected more from Golesh and the Bulls tonight. Go bulls! We broke the losing streak.

If I were QB for next week, I think I would call in sick.

I thought BB was thinking that at the end of the game when he injured his hand, I can’t believe he went back in destroying his easy out for next week and I fear for his life.

You beat me to the punch line. I think Gerry realized that before the first game.

FBS win. I know what you meant though Navy..WE got our first FCS win this season. Scott was undefeated against FCS teams so it is hard to tell if there was any real progress.

That was a rough watch.

I am glad we won.

We had too many dropped balls, too many sacks, not enough push from the d-line, and a lot of bad penalties. The refs were a little flag happy, but taunting an FCS opponent when your team is on an 11 game losing streak? I hope Golesh or Orlando corrected that behavior.

If this team can cut out the stupid penalties and Brown/receivers get on the same page this team will for sure gets some FBS wins.
