Why would Scott, a former Clemson player, assistant since 2008 and co-offensive coordinator for all five of Clemson's College Football Playoff appearances and two national championships, leave a great situation? The answer is because Scott, along with his coaching mentor Dabo Swinney, see USF as a program where you can win championships. For now, though, the 0-0 overall head coaching record puts a ceiling on Scott's rating compared to his peers. 2019 AAC ranking: N/A Ranking every football coach in the AAC from 1-11 heading into the 2020 season - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM There's a new No. 1 after a shake up in the AAC East in 2019

Jeff Scott has a 0-0 record overall as a head coach it would be ludicrous for him to be ranked against any head coach with experience.

He'd probably have to pretty much go undefeated in that time to make that leap ............ which works for me.

It seems ludicrous to rank a coach with a losing record over someone that has yet to coach a game, one has already proven a loser. Actually the whole article is ludicrous, I wonder where they would have ranked CCS, possibly 13th?
