Look, I don't know what went wrong with USF & Perry, but USF did give him a scholarship (free tuition & room/board, worth $20-25K/year) and it seems stuck with him when he had his medical issue (heart related, if I recall).

Not sure why he left (academics, team rules, drugs [hope not, but read that speculation elsewhere] or just Perry wanting out), but he seems to take perverse delight anytime USF gets hit with something, and that means there's deep seeded animosity on his end.

I know he's young, but at 20-something, we can't call him a kid that doesn't know how to show class.  I sure hope "hisself" is a Bartow thing, and not a reflection of the partial education he got at USF.  Wish I knew why he is so bitter at a team I thought gave him plenty.

Couldn't agree more with your statement. He also had many off the court problems, and suspensions, so he wasn't helping himself out

Agree 100% Jupe, he should keep his mouth shut and focus on his own future. I have not heard anything about him playing somewhere else. Makes me wonder if his dismissal was something of a serious nature.

His Twitter account indicate moving from Polk County to TN.  So I'm guessing he's not playing this year, and if he is, it's not a D-1 school.

Kind of makes sense since Coach Rocc is still there ..... but totally agree with the OP. Although we don't know the whole story, sure would like to know what has turned CP into a little *****.
