Taggart, King, and Weist are headed to Baylor for a couple days this week to pick Art Briles brain on spread concepts (per Joey Johnston). I like the commitment CWT has shown to acquiring spread offense knowledge to bolster his Gulf Coast offense.

Did you see what Baylor did in their bowl game against NC? Basically played without a QB and ran all over them. I am sure they want to look into how they did that.

Good move. 

 

Leavitt and crew did something similar at Mizzou when they started to institute the spread. I believe it was around 2006. Paid off pretty well.

I wonder if Harlan is going? He might be able to learn how a small college that was a doormat in collegiate sports for many years now has many programs including football that kick the crap out of bigger schools. I lived in Houston in the 70-80s and they were a JOKE.

Besides a suitcase of cash for Big12 consideration, Im thinking Chip from Fixer Upper is gonna meet Taggart and ask about his complete renovation of the USF Football team

I sent him a Twitter PM when the women's teams played each other (for those who don't know him or the show, they are big Baylor fans/alumni.)
