Its his sixth year; and right now we are still 4 games under .500. Under Gregory we have seen improvement one season only to get worse the next season (year after we won the CBI), so I am not sold that we will be improved next year.

In our next two games we play the two worst teams in the conference at home.  If he wins 3 more games perhaps you give him another year. If he goes 2-2 or worse, I think we move on.

Besides Yetna tearing his ACL; wasn't there a big scandal that caused a mass exodus of some players due to one of the Coaching Assistants?!

  2. I don't understand the debate here...

Yes, we need to win. That goes without saying.

But, all G5 schools that moved to the P5 in the past decade had an OCS (or something very similar).

We won a lot in 2016/2017 and it always felt like an AWAY game.

Remember, NCAA Football is a ticking time bomb... between the HAVES and the HAVE NOTs (NILs, Transfer Portal, HC carousel, Conference Alignment and Media contracts).

The year is 2035, USF is in the ACC, we have won multiple conference championships in the AAC, our OCS has already announced expansion to 55,000 fans, we are an AAU member school with a $2B+ endowment, men's basketball has won a conference championship, baseball has visited Omaha for the first time...

Outlaw will still be beating the bad extension drum.

Here's to moving on and supporting our Bulls through thick and thin, good hires and bad hires, good extensions and bad extension. Remember, hindsight is always 20/20.

Considering our history, we better get an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary

You should care.  Those schools are now making 50 million dollars a year, while USF is making peanuts.

It is absolutely not ridiculous to wonder why and get angry about the fact that 12 schools have been selected for power conferences since the Big East imploded.  Why is that?

    It absolutely matters.

^This comment is spot on. And the money does matter.

The AAC is a terrible place to be; and we need to invest and win (now).

I also noticed that UCF has a major online fan presence. Are we at that level?

Building an OCS and winning aren't mutually exclusive. Obviously we can do both and should. Off-campus home games are the lamest college football experience I've ever had. Even at Miami. I remember in '05, my friends and I got all painted up and had to take the metrorail to that game... with a bunch of people that couldn't care less there was a game happening. Compare that to games I went to at Auburn, FSU, UF, and even UCF, and it's clear why we have fallen behind. No on-campus gameday atmosphere. I have had the displeasure of attending games at the old Citrus Bowl too. Once C. Florida built their OCS, I knew it was a matter of time for their program to pass us. Been saying it since '07. Sure, winning is #1, but overall fan experience is right up there and can help buoy a program when they are down.

    This is spot on...

The ocs could be a  great addition but it is a lot of debt to take on for a football program with one fbs win in the last three years. I don't think it will sell out in the new aac If the program is anywhere close to it's  current state the doormat of fbs football and the American conference.

USF needs to build an OCS. Period...

Best to invest in the program now, or just give it all up.

Anyone else sick of the South Florida branding? I believe it transitioned under Charlie Strong and we have lost ever since. Let’s take a poll.

I actually dislike the South Florida branding. As, actual students call their school 'USF'... Makes it seem like a disconnect.

She chose the wrong path for future success at USF.  She thought academics would win out and the rest of the story would follow.  She bet wrong. SPORTS are the way to greenier pastures, but she got rid of the 2 best coaches USF ever had in Stan Heath and Jim Levitt.  This was all on Judy's watch.  But everything thinks she is great...she wasn't

Judy was a kind person; she really remembered the students that she met. However, I believe that she was over-paid as a University President. And while academics greatly improved; our athletics became a disaster.
