I am suspicious about Vanderbilt, myself. Aren't we all? People keep steressing how strong they are academically, but that's always been the case. Apparently, their newest head coach is supposed to be pretty good and is placing more emphasis on recruiting Florida. I read an article about that a few months ago, but don't remember from where. I'm not saying illegal stuff is happening, but I wouldn't be shocked. They went from doormat to penthouse pretty quickly. Not sure I would call 2-6, 6-7, the penthouse but you never know what's going to trigger these kids' decisions ... especially in these turbulent times of college football. I was more talking about the type of recruits they were pulling in, not their record. I would rather come to Tampa. We have better weather, beaches, theme parks, lots of pro sports and better looking women!!!

No, but he was when he was doing Sumo wrestling. He's lost over 100 pounds, to play football. He's listed on the USF football roster at 308 lbs. Thanks, I figured he would have to get down to 300 to 325.

I hate hearing stuff like that, it breaks my heart all these young people dying. It makes you realize though that family is the most important thing, all the other stuff doesn't really mean much.

That's an important trait in a safety. That's why I loved Joyce when we recruited him. Not, to mention that he was also an All-state hurdler and was fearless. John Lynch's ability to hit, contributed to his reputation as an elite safety. It can really make a difference for a defense, even if the player is not the most talked about on the team. I like seeing Joyce contribute to the defense, too. When a wr has to worry about getting laid out by a safety it makes them not want to run across the middle. Fear is a great thing for a defense! I'd love to see us get even more aggressive and nasty on d I remember a few years ago when Cincy safeties were just laying into our guys. It was no contest. Yes I remember that also...I'm ready for our defensive backs and safeties to step up the hitting this year. Our defense is going to be pretty tough. I hope so. Our new DC is supposed to be a stickler on fundamentals. Good our lack of depth and brain farts are what have killed this team. We have the talent, we just have to not shoot ourselves in the foot.

I think our teams in the past have lacked that killer/aggressive mentality. We get up for big games but then the energy drops. I'm sure lack of depth contributed to a lot of that.

I love hearing that! He is sn outstanding young man and will be a great role model. I am a teacher and I know my students will be looking up to him. He's got some little Woulards to set the standard for, as well. I am sure he will do that and more. I'm sure he is setting the standard for his siblings as well Most of the students I teach play football and have some not so great role models. It's going to be nice to show them you can be a great human being while also being a great football player. I try and preach the value of education and integrity...nobody can take those away from you.

Who needs recruiters when we have AW? I love how he is bringing his friends with him. He is going to bring USF football to another level and be a hero to fans!

If we were in any conference other than Tater Head's best, we would be fine. We are still are hard on Tony though. Oh I think it's amazing the recruits we have so far. AW is going to be our savior and bring huge talent with him! I believe AW and his friends are going to do things here we've never seen before
