  1. It would not be embaressing if we win... A win is a win on paper. But a loss to this team would be terrible (speaking in terms of the Selection Committee). I agree that a win won't mean major damage to tourney possibilities. But it's still an embarrassing showing for the players. Hmm, I suppose.. That 2 on 1 break was pretty embarrassing
  2. He has really come on in the last few games. Beautiful pump fake and pass to Jawanza by Rudd

  4. Very bad loss if we are looking to get into the Big Dance again this year.. There are very narrow circumstances that could happen with these 40 seconds left where we could come back.. But, not likely at all!
  5. Huge three by Tino... Down by 4 with less than 2 mins left I believe
  6. Really need to get our stuff together here... Can't afford a loss to Bowling Green..
  7. .. I wouldn't go that far.. This is basketball, not football. It's still okay to be supportive of a 6-3 team...not 3-6 here! Don't know why you were quoting me on that one there... I am supportive of USF basketball, have been since I started attending USF.. However, this is a very poor performance they are putting on right now. Would you not agree?
  8. I haven't found us to be far more impressive than BGSU to be honest... I've been pretty underwhelmed with our play..
  9. Hmm, great question.. Or is he falling down the depth chart? That would be strange since Coach was so high on him early in the season, or was it pre-season..
  10. Yes, he is supposed to be a scoring threat.. He has had 22 and 23 points in the last 2 team scrimmages or something similar to that (leading all scorers). I've heard that he has a better 3 point shot than Noriega, but not sure compared against Fitzpatrick. And as you can see he is strong, so hopefully we see him take it to the basket more to draw fouls. He really hasn't been able to play much due to coming back from injury. I hope he gets some decent playing time in the next two games to get him going before UCF, and of course conference play.. We will need him.
  11. Dominique already committed back in 7/27/12. I believe the tweet is just saying that he's happy with Coach T, and won't be rescinding his commitment. Hope that clarifies
  12. Wasn't Dungy also behind the Skip Holtz hiring as well (I honestly cannot remember, I thought he was, so this is a serious question)?
  13. I don't quite think that's a fair comparison. Yes, Holtz was kind of an upstart, however he had won two titles at C-USA, and he was OC for years before being a head coach. So, I'm a little skeptical on Taggart.. However, a lot of people seem to be really excited about the guy, so I must be missing something!
  14. He is actually somewhat skilled for a guy his size. He has problems with his knees and he doesn't always move real well. Ill tell you he was a beast in the Bradley game and had a good first half last night but second half the intensity picked up and the game was moving a little too fast for him. He is going to get solid minutes against teams with larger front courts and when they play zone. he was NOT a Beast. He has barely tapped playing "well" He hasn't even dunked yet lol. I am anxious to see him progress though I'm glad someone else pointed this out.. I really don't think OMG will be as good as some of you think he will be. I like the guy.. But he is too sluggish. Once we get our recruits next year (specifically Egbunu and Perry), I just don't see him getting too much playing time. I hope I am wrong, and that he improves tremendously during this season.. Hold up. No one is saying he is going to be a star or even more than a servicable role player so relax. I'll call him a beast for what he accomplished in the lane against Bradley. He had one block he put in the front row and another where he fouled the kid where it took the guy a minute to get himself together to take his free throws. He was and can be a factor in the middle. Hasn't even dunked yet? This isn't NCAA '13, don't care if he can dunk. Only that he keeps guys out of the paint, clears the boards and intimidates I'll take that beast play anytime. As long as we got that cleared I am good. I think I misunderstood what you meant be beast. I consider a beast someone who can take over the game. However, I will be very happy if he is able to keep the middle clear! That's just a very tough thing to do in the big east play with the talented big players in the league.

  16. This is getting irritating to read.. I can only imagine how Asiantii would react reading this stuff.
  17. Who cares? You guys are acting like needy girlfriends.. Let the kid have his fun traveling. I'm sure we'll be seeing him next year.
