  1. Agreed - There is a different vibe altogether for me. Last year we had the Willie Taggart saga. We had a vanilla offense in comparison to the previous couple of years. It wasn’t clear that CCS wanted to really be here. It felt sort of uneasy.

I am really excited, the number of underclassmen making plays is so encouraging.  It proves that CCS is as good and possibly better than Taggart. It feels like Coach Strong’s team this year.

It’s not like when Willie followed Holtz and the cupboard was empty. CCS came into a stacked program and we have freshman all over the place making plays. The present AND future are very bright!

MOST IMPORTANT THING NOW!!! KEEP COACH CHARLIE STRONG, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!!!

  2. Still don’t care for the offensive game plan...doesn’t appear that there is much of one.

The O-Line not playing great either, but overall I think we have nice talent on both sides of the ball.

I hope to see some more rythm on the O in second half.

Also agree with one of the other posters, a bit concerned about the D wearing out before games end.

LETS GO BULLS!!! Have a great second half!!

All I can say is, some people assume things will happen just because they’re there. I knew things were going to be tough at my first game when someone said, “Coach, we can’t wait to get back to beating Virginia Tech again!”

I’m like, you beat Virginia Tech in 2012. The program had a lot of success against Virginia Tech (23-12-1), but when they got there, they didn’t know what to do with it or where to go. They had no plan.

The hypocrisy of his “people assume things will happen just because they are there” is so awesome.

He is the one that’s never “been there”. Willie Taggart is the classic case of the dog that catches the car....what does he do now??

Dude has used smoke and mirrors to land a premier job in the country...at least it used to be a premier job.

  4. I honestly came into the game thinking I was going to root for Willie and the Noles. But as the game continues to progress I find myself rooting against them and actually enjoying their poor play.

At the end of the day I’m a Bull through and through. He didn’t want to be here and I officially don’t care. The worse he does and the Noles do, the better it is for us.

    GO BULLS!!!!!!

  5. I’m actually liking them more the more that I look at them. Although, I tend to like classic, basic unis.

The gold numbers seem to really show up well in the light as evidenced by the players’ photo taken outside.

Compared to UAs unis the last couple years I like this uni a lot more. The beige was weak.

  6. I am getting used to these new unis. I think my all time favorite unis were the Nike years. I like white numbers on green jerseys outlined in black/gold.

The first year with UA was good too, we went back to darker green, font change to the numbers but remaining white.

I REALLY DISLIKED the cream/beige numbers of the last couple of years. These Adidas unis are a definite improvement over last years in my opinion.

As for the South Florida / USF debate....I used to prefer USF, but I’m actually coming around to the South Florida thing now.

He said he plans on working out with the QBs, WRs, and RBs.

Q is smart and has his head on straight. I think he understands this is a great opportunity for him to provide a quality life for him and his family. This is great news.

I am not saying he can’t make it as a QB, but teams and coaches will like the fact that he’s willing to do whatever it takes.

I will be rooting for him wherever he ends up!
