I agree that the ACC is very close to the verge of death, but the remnants still look better than the B12. If the ACC dies the B12 can start the clock on their demise as well. There’s no world where the B10/SEC let them stay at the grownups table with Ok. St. and WVU being their premier teams. The tv markets largely include cornfields and the dust bowl, so there’s little appeal there unless cattle start watching games.

Aside from the SMU, cal, and Stanford long travel distances, the ACC will be way better than the Big12. Much superior group to be associated with, in more relevant markets which will be better for USF alumni to have exposure to. We’ll have exposure to top academic institutions on the East and west coast, which is much better than the flyover  rejects of the Big12.

we should also resume a rivalry with UCF, it’s good for both universities because it gets ratings, such a natural rivalry.

  2. They could have avoided this lawsuit if they simply recognized these ladies exist and provided a sand volley ball court near a locker room for the women’s volleyball. A dump truck or two and a net would have been a lot cheaper than this lawsuit. Frankly, sometimes all you have to do is recognize people exist to avoid animosity, treat them how you’d want to be treated. When you won’t even provide on campus practice area, it may be taken personally.

Hell yeah! Right on. I think I’m more offended of the amount of outcry we are seeing for FSU than what we seen by many other teams getting snubbed in the past. The reality is that FSU looks like weaker team now that they are down to their 3rd string QB. They struggled against UL while Bama beats UGA. No one can tell me that FSU is the better team right now.

All teams had bad games and Texas had the worst loss of the top 6. Also, Washington only edged Oregon by 3. FSU was in top 4 last week, Texas and FSU win, and Texas moves ahead?
it’s so obviously political and not about win-losses or schedule.

  4. BIG10 and SEC asserting themselves as the P2 by putting two 1 loss SEC teams ahead of an undefeated ACC team.

All this means is that even if USF were in the ACC, we won’t get recognized or respected by the P2 or playoff system. They shafted FSU, they will definitely shaft USF.

This was also a move to prompt the top ACC schools to depart for the Big10 and SEC. They just took a huge dump on the desk of the ACC asserting their dominance and demonstrating that the table is reserved for Big10 and SEC only.

It’s truly one of the greatest subtle power moves of all time.

Don't know. UAB, WKU,FAU, Memphis losses were all due to poor pass defense.

No doubt that offensively we would have been better, but perhaps not enough to earn more wins.

We really could use more speed on offense, but the only game that really was a huge factor was Alabama.

They’re probably making better NIL money at Colorado. I assume they have no regrets.

How can our defense dominate Alabama, but then have this type of showing the last two weeks? Tells me the coaching was able to motivate the team for a big game against Bama, but haven't been able to motivate the team and bring the same intensity the last few weeks.

The good news is we have enough talent to compete with all teams left on our schedule, the AAC is just that weak right now, but the coaching has to be better.

Bama was having major QB troubles. Many bad passes. Saban played 2 or 3 QBs against us. Bama O-line is also bad this year by their usually standard. Now in SEC play and still their QB is getting sacked a lot. If Bama‘s QBs weren’t struggling they’d have drummed us.
