So the things we need to improve in to make his job easier (or even possible)

    • Winning
    • Attendance
    • Bigger donors
    • Traditions (fan experience)
    • Better fascilities (OCS obviously :stirpot:)
    • Community support

In other words, he will do what he can but we might not be there yet.

Winning fixes all of the bullet points which leads to a better conference. TCU and, to a lesser degree, Baylor are perfect blueprints for USF to follow in football.

A sworn criminal affidavit indicates that around 4 a.m. on Dec. 19, Grothe "actually and intentionally" struck a male victim (whose name is redacted), causing great bodily harm. Grothe struck the victim on the left side of the face with his right fist, causing a fractured nose, broken tooth, and lip and mouth lacerations, according to the affidavit.

Looks like his throwing arm still has it.

Yes, and it feels good to even consider a USF QB worthy of the comparison, doesn't it?

The kid's good, and if he continues on this trajectory, he's going to force opposing coordinators to gameplan for him, rather than his own coordinators hope he doesn't kill your team's chances.

9/20, 100 passing yards against a bad defense. With mack out this would have been the time to see him throw the ball around.

As far as gameplan, I would still load the box and contain.

  4. QF plays better if we can run well.. Bench is just a better passer.

Every QB should play better with a good running game. It's the passing without the running game that is the tricky part.

If Cuse could stop a WR screen to save their lives then they might have won the game. Also, QF would not have looked as good. He's still missing wide open receivers on downfield throws.

  5. I can't understand how people are still on the Bench bandwagon. Even his big completion for a first down wasn't a great throw, the receiver made a good catch. It was wobbly as hell too. He threw towards a receiver he thought was about 8 feet tall and then got picked ... badly.

Flowers belongs in the game. I don't know WTF CWT was thinking taking him out after the 17 play TD drive. That drive doesn't happen with Bench in the game.

I don't want to see Bench in the game again unless God forbid something happens to Flowers.

Flowers couldn't even find a Wr that would allow him to have a bad throw.
Really? Rodney Adams and DJ disagree. Both WRs cost us 14 points on solid throws from QF.
You're picking out two plas where he actually could find someone. What about every other time he held it too long and got sacked or ran for minimal yards?

He had better than 50% completion, and then a couple drops for TDs. Turn those into completions and that's 14 more points and he's 12-19, which isn't great numbers, but it's not terrible.

Running for minimal yards, I'm not going to bash him for. Bench held the ball for too long on his ONE drive and was lucky not to throw a pick there. But then he threw a pick on his ONE drive.

You can only blame a QB so much for sacks and pocket flushes. The O-line sucked today. Not QF's fault.

Fair enough on the line, but if you have zero threat of throwing then what happens? In addition, the inside runs and screens are awful. How do they spread when no one believes they can?
