Shows how stupid MB really is when he says "Were the Big East opponents THAT much better than the AAC ones?....hmm WV, Pitt, Syracuse, Louisville and even Rutgers are way better than the teams that replaced them.
Yeah even if W-L record aren't stellar, the tradition and fan base those teams brought with them + the name recognition of playing them for the casual fan is waaaaay different.

LOL.
Voting on a NC has got to go!
BCS has got to go!
+ 1 has got to go!
Lets just switch to a single elimination tournament with any college who can field a team getting a shot. That way everyone can be included and we can all feel special for making the playoffs.

Expected this "L", both before the season and after it had played out.
Still ******* sucks.
Another 4th down back breaker. I don't care what relationship Strong has with the Defensive Coaches, they all need to go.

Considering the demand for the product I can understand the need to curb any freebies.

Are the Gramattica kids old enough for a scholarship yet?

No they stopped saying that:
You'll notice American Conference unbeatens UCF and USF were discarded this year, even ahead of the initial rankings release on Tuesday. Plain and simple, they're not getting in. Not this year and likely not ever in a four-team configuration.

UCONN saw all of the previous McCants threads, decided to not even take the free trip to Florida.

I mean, it's not a stretch to say this team is probably going to end up with 9 or 10 wins. I think most have been saying that since June.
That being said as an analyst this is a great visual representation of probability of outcomes.

Have the operator count the quarters down instead of up?

It wasn't a great start. He had like 4 or 5 carries for 9 yards. Surprised he got 12 touches with how far behind Indy was.

I only take solace in the knowledge the years of life I have lost from this team would have likely been pretty ****** anyways.

How do you not have a play ready? You call BB over and have to burn a timeout.
And on top of it the play was a rollout into a blitz?

Is pretty ******* terrible tonight.
Hopefully our creative OC and HC recognize the LT is a revolving door and scheme a way to get him some help.

I watched the national championship on southwest two years ago.
Southwest has live TV in lieu of an exhaustive entertainment collection like AA and Delta provide.
I thought AA had gone to live TV on all domestic routes, but it looks like its just select routes (likely NYC to LA, Chicago to San Fran, etc...)
-
Doesn't AA have live TV?

EDIT:
Sorry missed flight details. Yeah I dont think the regional carriers (Envoy) have live tv.

They may want to rethink the stadium naming rights?

So, we are playing the Tulsa Hurricanes and they are going to cause of practice problems.
The team better head over to the Trop to practice on Tuesday and Wednesday.
We need a IPF
Golden Hurricanes...big difference.

I feel dirty even remotely arguing for ucf, but I'll make it a G5 argument to ease that stigma. I will also agree that opponents matter, BUT the same argument was made last year (and rightfully so) and all they did was go to a NYD bowl game and beat a top ranked SEC opponent who happened to be the only team to beat the eventual National Champs (the real ones not the fake ones to the east). At some point what happens on the field has to matter and not just what people think will happen. If not then stop pretending the G5 schools and the P5 schools are in the same Division and separate them and crown 2 separate champs.
Of course, ucf isn't going undefeated so it doesn't matter.
College football is facing a similar issue European soccer is. Both are stuck in systems that were created a loooooong time ago, and because of tradition are slow to change.
Nobody wants to see Alabama play ULL or Troy, or even a USF or UCF to some extent. Just like nobody cares when Manchester City bend over Cardiff or Swansea. Yes there are some stories in both sports of rises and falls, but for the most part the same dozen (or less) institutions have dominated the landscape for decades.
The powerhouses are going to create super leagues and play other powerhouses, and keep all the money. I dont know what could have been done differently when USF had its shot (in the Big East), but I think it stings a little more knowing they had a shot to establish in the top 64 (both on the field and off) and never really got it going.
