  1. Looks like a pretty even finish at the p5 level.

The  bottom of the sec stunk it up (vandy, usce) but the other loses were close (miss St held Iowa to -5 rushing and somehow lost, and uf and tamu demolished opponents. Obviously bama got rolled last night too.

Honestly I would put bama and Clemson in their own stratosphere. Then I still think it's the status quo. SEC, B16, ACC, B12, P12

It seems like every year this time we have a, AAC didn't do itself favors thread 😐

FWIW, this is pro football reference's top ten in approximate value for USF alumni

That is about where I would have it as well, heading into 2018.

I would imagine Mack will easily be the best offensive product from USF within the next year or two. He will likely hold that title for foreseeable future. I think he is a 1200 yard guy for the next 2-3 seasons, if healthy.

And obviously if his playoff production continues at this rate it would skyrocket him up.

  3. Can we stop calling Mack the backup? Milton's leg was turned into a Panda Express chopstick, he is the starter for the foreseeable future.

Also the game was close on the score board but looking at a boxscore it should have been a 20-28 point difference.

Just glad my bet is alive with ucf "friends" that they will go winless before they go undefeated again.

  4. We have already abandoned the gulf coast offense.

The triple option is run by a handful of schools that are at a severe recruiting disadvantage and Georgia Tech.

Honestly, I think the school that executes it best might be Georgia Southern. There could be worse ideas, but with Blake at QB I don't think it would work, and Charlie would be too dense to use speed/misdirection and instead try and force it between the tackles 30 times a game.

I'm not saying it will end up being a good or bad decision, but I don't think USF/Tampa beats UM/Minneapolis in football culture, town, or academic support.

And lets be honest, would you rather tell the grand kids you played college ball and got to lose to Temple and Cincy, or Penn State and Ohio State?

    Gee...thanks!!!

It's been an amazing journey for me...as I've watched sooo many games (many wins and yes, plenty of heartbreat), but that's what makes my journey soooo enjoyable.

When I was in school...I had a blast cheering for "Division II" UCF. It was a thrill...still remember my first game when UCF beat BCC for the very first time on a LONG 53 yd FG on the final play of the game.

Flash forward to seeing Div II Attendance records...to making Div I-AA Playoffs...and then finally getting to Div I-A with Daunte Culpepper to beating Defending SEC Champion Alabama on their Homecoming Day...to joining a conf and finally having yearly rivals (like Marshall in the MAC and then in CUSA), to hearing about UCF building their own on-campus stadium...at the SAME TIME, UCF was building their beautiful new 10,000 seat arena that was the centerpiece of their cool new Athletic Village on Campus...to seeing UCF host the 2005 National Champion Texas Longhorns on Opening Day of Brighthouse Network Stadium...to seeing in-person at our on-campus stadium...winning Conf Championships after Conf Championships...to seeing UCF IN-PERSON their first ever bowl game victory...to seeing IN-PERSON UCF's first ever BCS Bowl Game AND Victory...to seeing in-person, UCF go undefeated in back-to-game seasons...plus seeing UCF win their 2nd NYD6/BCS Bowl Game in 5 years...and now UCF is set to play in their 3rd NYD6/BCS Bowl game in the last 6 seasons.

Thanks for "thinking" about me and my journey....its been one hell of a ride...and I hope it doesn't end anytime soon.

so you are celebrating something that can also hurt the team you root for in the future, you are not very smart

I've been saying for 6 months the only solace I had in a cent undefeated season was you **** heads got to get the shaft from the committee, again, and now we all know what several have been saying for years...there is no path for the G5.

Enjoy 2 years of being undefeated, it's just as meaningless as USF going 7-5!
