It’s great to see Willie’s uncle on this board...
No kidding.
"I watched this board for years and now I am going to make a triple post defending the ex coach".
Creepy.

Looks like a pretty even finish at the p5 level.
The bottom of the sec stunk it up (vandy, usce) but the other loses were close (miss St held Iowa to -5 rushing and somehow lost, and uf and tamu demolished opponents. Obviously bama got rolled last night too.
Honestly I would put bama and Clemson in their own stratosphere. Then I still think it's the status quo. SEC, B16, ACC, B12, P12
It seems like every year this time we have a, AAC didn't do itself favors thread

Must have been given a 5th or 6th round grade (if any).
Should be a key piece of the offense next season.

Its Army.
The highest G5 is Oviedo Community College coming in at 14.
Only 2 GROUP schools mentioned. *Shocker*

I would imagine Mack will easily be the best offensive product from USF within the next year or two. He will likely hold that title for foreseeable future. I think he is a 1200 yard guy for the next 2-3 seasons, if healthy.
And obviously if his playoff production continues at this rate it would skyrocket him up.

Knightnews.com has no link, no association to UCF in any way. Title is inaccurate in my opinion.
Both the fan base and the school have been delusional long before declaring a "TRANS" national championship.
I think any chance at the playoffs, much less bigger things, went away the second that banner went up.

Can we stop calling Mack the backup? Milton's leg was turned into a Panda Express chopstick, he is the starter for the foreseeable future.
Also the game was close on the score board but looking at a boxscore it should have been a 20-28 point difference.
Just glad my bet is alive with ucf "friends" that they will go winless before they go undefeated again.

We have already abandoned the gulf coast offense.
The triple option is run by a handful of schools that are at a severe recruiting disadvantage and Georgia Tech.
Honestly, I think the school that executes it best might be Georgia Southern. There could be worse ideas, but with Blake at QB I don't think it would work, and Charlie would be too dense to use speed/misdirection and instead try and force it between the tackles 30 times a game.

It wouldn't be a real off-season unless the threads are:
OCS and it's magic properties
SoFlo jerseys or color schemes in general
Conference reallignment

Compared to the rest of 2018 it was an A+. In reality, it was probably a B+. Situational play-calling left something to be desired. Still only put up 20 points, although some of that was execution.
I think Gilbert was an issue, but I agree that no matter who is calling plays they will have a pair of black 5 foot 5 handcuffs in a white turtleneck attached to them.

In 9 full seasons 6 of them have been 7 wins or less. In his three good seasons (two of which he lost the division to Cent FL) the SOS was bad to horrendous.
This is a decade long sample size at this point.

WTF is wrong with these guys? Its 3rd and 5, the slot receiver doesnt have a defender within 20 yards of him, and the throw a go route?

well they say PTSD qualifies so....
If it's anything like Cali in a year you will be able to pay a doctor $29 and be on your way with the license.

Please keep your mouth shut. You are on the worst defense in school history and in the process of giving up 300 yards rushing to Marshall.

It's a fine class. I think everyone on here who supports USF is wishing them the best. I just think a large portion lost optimism because of the low energy coach and the L5. Many see similiarities to year two and beyond of Holtz.
Hope I am wrong! GO BULLS!

Super happy he finally seems to be over the injury bug and producing.
I remember how divided the board was when he declared early, maybe a lot of it was selfishness for wanting to have him back for one more year. He obviously made the right choice and hopefully he can get paid with his next contract.

I'm not saying it will end up being a good or bad decision, but I don't think USF/Tampa beats UM/Minneapolis in football culture, town, or academic support.
And lets be honest, would you rather tell the grand kids you played college ball and got to lose to Temple and Cincy, or Penn State and Ohio State?
-
What happened to that? Can we have it back?
I'm glad the hospitality majors are visiting the site on their 15 min breaks but is there a way to get the filth off the main boards?

Gee...thanks!!!
It's been an amazing journey for me...as I've watched sooo many games (many wins and yes, plenty of heartbreat), but that's what makes my journey soooo enjoyable.
When I was in school...I had a blast cheering for "Division II" UCF. It was a thrill...still remember my first game when UCF beat BCC for the very first time on a LONG 53 yd FG on the final play of the game.
Flash forward to seeing Div II Attendance records...to making Div I-AA Playoffs...and then finally getting to Div I-A with Daunte Culpepper to beating Defending SEC Champion Alabama on their Homecoming Day...to joining a conf and finally having yearly rivals (like Marshall in the MAC and then in CUSA), to hearing about UCF building their own on-campus stadium...at the SAME TIME, UCF was building their beautiful new 10,000 seat arena that was the centerpiece of their cool new Athletic Village on Campus...to seeing UCF host the 2005 National Champion Texas Longhorns on Opening Day of Brighthouse Network Stadium...to seeing in-person at our on-campus stadium...winning Conf Championships after Conf Championships...to seeing UCF IN-PERSON their first ever bowl game victory...to seeing IN-PERSON UCF's first ever BCS Bowl Game AND Victory...to seeing in-person, UCF go undefeated in back-to-game seasons...plus seeing UCF win their 2nd NYD6/BCS Bowl Game in 5 years...and now UCF is set to play in their 3rd NYD6/BCS Bowl game in the last 6 seasons.
Thanks for "thinking" about me and my journey....its been one hell of a ride...and I hope it doesn't end anytime soon.

so you are celebrating something that can also hurt the team you root for in the future, you are not very smart
I've been saying for 6 months the only solace I had in a cent undefeated season was you **** heads got to get the shaft from the committee, again, and now we all know what several have been saying for years...there is no path for the G5.
Enjoy 2 years of being undefeated, it's just as meaningless as USF going 7-5!

I think he has similiar potential to Mack at the next level. Reminds me of Matt Brieda. My guess the talk with strong will be simple. Give me the ball or I will take my chances making the 53 and get paid.
