Same thing happened here in 2020. People come from outside the city go in to stir up crap, rally the locals, and smash things. They are mobilized somehow. Maybe it's just loosely on the internet (ie. Reddit morons). Then certain ringleaders associated with certain funded organizations go in and tee up the violence. Think Pied Piper 20XX. Apparently over half of the people arrested at Columbia were not even students. Go around on campus and check for student IDs maybe? Get the external agitators out first. It's time to start learning the patterns. It's been happening each time, but it gets lost in the chaos. The "news" orgs won't focus on how they are mobilized because they enjoy the clicks that the societal destruction gets them. They are kind of the grease in the gears that makes the ignorance machine flow.

I think it's great that they can pull that kind of influence and revenue without having to be tied to other programs. They also have freedom with their schedule for better or worse when the rankings settle. You sign these long contracts and before you know it some program is dragging you to the abyss.
