  1. He brings enthusiasm to the program and I think he will get better next year. You have to give him time to get his recruits on the offensive side of the ball. I think he has the potential to be a good coach. I expect an improvement next year.
  2. Waaaaaay overrated. They made us look like a good team. I'm not sure if we are that good or they are that bad. A few solid offense recruits and we can blow their doors off like old times next year. Can't wait for them to come into Ray Jay next year.
  3. I expect Mike White to prove the Houston game was not a fluke! Go Bulls!!!!!!
  4. All seniors except for Marcus Shaw and Dede should sit the rest of the year, their careers are over. I still don't know why seniors like Brandon Salinas and mark joyce continue to see so much playing time. I am sure that they are not significantly more talented than the freshmen. Let the freshmen make their mistakes now and create hope for next year. Prepare for the future.
  5. This is a great decision. Get him experience and create some hope for next year.
  6. Floyd should NEVER play another game for USF at QB. In his short career he has 7 interceptions and 0 touchdowns. I new him at QB was a mistake by watching last year's tape, not sure how he beat Eveld in camp.
  7. Need to see what Bench and Mike White have to offer. Eveld should start the game but if we are going to lose a lot of games this year then we need to start planning for the future. I'd rather lose with freshmen playing than seniors, at least then we'd have a decent excuse for losing.
  8. Still too early but I bet Daniels outweighs Godfrey by about 40 lbs... Godfrey would never last in a BCS conference running the ball.... non-BCS defenses just look sooooo much slower....
  9. I got a draft question for them: Have they ever had 5 players drafted in a single year like we just did???? Soon we will have more players in the NFL meaning one less moral victory for the UCiFers...
  10. You basically got a group of friends who went to the same high schools and valued early playing time more than competing for a BCS bowl game. It'll be interesting to see how many don't qualify academically... ::)Sorry, but it was the entire package. Facilities, academics, Marcus Jordan, etc, etc. ;D PS: Central's coach says everyone in Miami now wants to come to UCF, particularly his juniors. Sorry all. :shhh Rest assured playing time was the overall most important factor. Otherwise they would have gone to bigger schools. :KoolAid Academics. You better hope Reese gets his head in the books or he will be shafted by the NCAA... And I believe you got stomped twice. UCiF scored a garbage TD in mop up duty to make the first game appear closer than it was.
  11. This may surprise you but the BCS tag is not a big deal to some players. You would recruit slightly better with the tag but don't act like every recruit would think much higher of your program. Your lack of success on the field would always be a hindrance. USF and UCiF are near identical in almost every area possible minus the BCS tag. I expect USF to sign a monster class next year like we did in 2009...

  13. I think I just found a picture of it.... ;D pretty impressive :ROFLMAO :lmao
  14. Leavitt was making $2 million when you include incentives. The next coach would have to take less and use the rest for his staff. It's very managable.
  15. It's not just about today. You talk about USF all season long while we forgot you had a football program after our series ended.
  16. This has been an up and down season. When our QB plays great we are a very good team, but when he plays bad we can be a very bad team. I really don't think UCiF's pro style offense matches up well with our defense and your corners are terrible. That's why I think we'd beat you down had we played this year.
  17. Joe, if he is so undersized then why did Stanford and Butler throw a full ride his way? Also, nice dodge about the Jermaine Taylor question. I saw MJ jr pay with the big boys in the MJ classsic and dunk the hell out of the ball in Madison square garden. Jermaine Taylor wasn't a great player until his senior year. He would've been average in the big east, especially with teams double teaming him.
  18. Maybe ucif can become the first "basketball school" in the state... Seriously, UF has 2 national titles in hoops and they still can't fill their arena. FSU has beaten UF for 3 consecutive years in basketball and neither FSU or UF fans really care or make a big deal about it.... basketball is an afterthought in florida.
  19. wow, toejam, you couldn't even bother to google the words "rutgers stadium expansion" http://www.scarletknights.com/stadium/ ^that's the first link that appears and it took me 5 seconds to find it.... they're expanding to 54K http://www.uoflsports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/042408aaa.html louisville expanding to 60K^^ how dumb can you be, seriously. :Duh
  20. +1000 The only thing that concerns me: - We took way too long to notify the KID whether he would be accepted. No way he should have to start planning what he's going to do with his life this late in the process. I really feel bad for the kid, and I hope this never happens again. Our admission committee (AC) is trained to determine whether students will have a decent chance of graduating from USF. Based on Thonton's past history, the AC determined that his chances of reaching graduation day were slim to none. The AC is being proactive to avoid future APR EMBARRASSMENTS (and possibly NCAA sanctions). You will thank them later. The process of notifying STUDENT-Athletes needs to be done quicker, though.
