Considering they had more people at THEIR home games than we had at OUR games -- I would expect them to have more people at the bowl game. MEMPHIS -- 37431 WEST VIRGINIA -- 40510 VIRGINIA -- 35541 TULSA -- 34011 SMU -- 34141 MARSHALL -- 41372 Their smallest crowd was larger than our largest crowd this year. Having visited Greenville, I can tell you that it is no surprise that they have decent attendance.  There is NOTHING there, nothing whatsoever for miles and miles.  Without ECU, that town would disappear.  There's something to be said for being the only game in town... That is quite true...but without fans like myself that bother to drive 2 and 1/2 hours for every home game...and belive me...there are those that travel further than me...the attendance would not be much...not that 35to40k is anything to jump up and down about in college football.

Verejdo(Arizona) and Gransberry(LSU) are eligible at the end of the semester, they transfered in the middle of last season, therefore they are eligible mid-season this year. I think thats who your talking about. Did I hear correctly one was 270lbs?

I think the slant is ...well...a slant. I agree that we will probably have trouble moving the ball against the USF defense....But Im not sure that either team will have a stellar day on offense...ECUs defense really came together late in the season and I think a month layoff doesnt fair well for either offense...I think ECU has 2 major weapons in this game that must be used win....superior special teams play...and WR Andre Allison....If we win the special team battle and Allison is open...Lookout for an upset. Regardless...I still see a close game late into the 3rd....Defense will win this game...thus I give USF the nod...21-17

Believe me Hoss...If USF cant beat us in Baskeball...you have the worse team in the nation...we totally suck Id be much more worried about the football team...not that USF shouldnt be the favorite and win....But maybe your basketball team might like to play our football team... ;D UD, don't take our bball team lightly, there is a very real chance ECU will beat us with the round ball this weekend.  with all the pirates talkin all their smack they are all just so sure they will lose, but if they would just shut up for one second they would realize they have a fighting chance against us in basketball. with all your smack i hope your willing to come back here and take your lumps should ecu actually win this bball game If you think for a second that I was joking about our BB team....you have not done any research...hell we lost to UNC-Wilmingon...and the real ugly loss was to Jerry Faldwell U...Liberty....A loss to ECU= My team sucks bigtime. :-[ (I currently work at UNCG and was at the game where ECU handed us one) I have no clue why we beat UNCG....I feel it may be a long year for them.

You should be proud of the USFs accomplishments....I dare guess that no University has ever come so far so fast as USF has...Its really quite amazing...I think the going will be tougher in the future...but winning is the key and so far thats been no problem...good luck...just not at the pizza bowl

Its set up for mostly non computer geeks....Mostly older fans...very few college kids...the other boards are suited more to trash talking....Ill tell you this tho...BYB will always have the best info...most posters are long time fans that know what is going on.

I second that All USF has to do is keep on winning...Ws=reconition=fan support=booster$$=new stadium=all kind of cool stuff It's different in Florida and in an NFL/MLB/NHL area...also, I hate to say it but we have serious front runners around here granted....but really what other option does USF have?....You are not painting a rosy picture for the future. I happen to believe success of the field will bring sucess in every aspect of your University...I think USF will be fine...maybe the growth will not be a quick as it has been....NUMBER1...you gotta build a loyal fanbase that CARES about your program and wont give up even when you suck for a couple of years...which WILL happen. It happens to just about everyone....I should know...it been a tought 5 to 6 years for us ...but we still managed to have 30k in attendance to see a team that only won 3 games in 2 years....Thats what builds programs in the long run..Good luck....seeya in BHM
