  1. I live off Hallam. I can make some sort of get together.
  2. The play-in winner must go to a Friday location therefore it does not always match up with the #1 overall seed. The men's NIT was revamped this year eliminating byes and creating a streamilined 32 team tourney.
  3. Lakeland is quickly becoming a USF hotbed.  While the Gators are clearly the most popular option in town, it wouldn't be a stretch to say USF is now #2.  You can't go anywhere in town without seeing USF plates or people wearing USF gear.  I teach at a local high school and many of the kids wear USF t-shirts.
  4. 2400...there are 3 sections now...an essay was added to the traditional math and verbal
  5. I'm from Polk County. I can probably surivive even if there are a few barnyard animals milling around the room
  6. Got a room in Opeleika last night for $41 a night for 9/14 and 9/15
  7. Isn't he still awaiting word from the NCAA Clearinghouse?
  8. Agree with that. The "star" system while useful is not a complete assessment of a recruiting class.
  9. We have not been devoid of those players. It would be nice to get a Michael Bush or Steve Slaton however.
  10. Agreed. USF needs to start bringing in players that can make immediate impacts. WV, UL and Rutgers (this year) are already doing that in the BE.
  11. MVC is a very solid conference. Missouri State defeated Wisconsin earlier this year. WSU, No. Iowa, Bradley, Creighton and So. Illinois all play very good basketball.
  12. there is nothing to suggest usf would have won a d1aa championship! pure speculation. usf hasnt competed for a cusa title or BE title since usf is in the middle of the best football talent east of mississippi.winning at usf in football should be easy what leavitt has accomplished isnt  that great or surprising Looking back at the archives, I see you are correct. I'm done with this program, they haven't done a **** thing. I already have a ticket to B'Ham but think I'll stay home. Good luck to the rest of you guys clinging to this sinking ship. I'm done!!!
  13. No need to ban posters based on divergent viewpoints but let's be realistic. There is a very good chance that USF could have competed for a national title at the Division 1 Championship Division formerly known as Division 1-AA or something like that. To expect a BCS Championship in less than 10 years of Division 1 Bowl Division play is a bit much. I wonder if Texas A&M CC hoops message boards have fans expecting a national title. They started D1 play in 1999. However, the fact that people on this board entertain those thoughts and are taken seriously shows how far this program has come. The next ten years will even more difficult as the program strives for elite status.
