1. Gotta love how anyone with a non-homer opinion always gets called a UCF fan around here. Well, except Smazza, he just gets called an idiot. Instead of attacking me, how bout answering this: Did anyone else actually expect a suspension from this? I know I didn't.
2. Who has ever called CJL too harsh? This was the expected punishment.... nothing. While it's certainly fitting for a minor, and first time, infraction such as this, it's the typical response.
3. That's complete nonsense. The only ones who try to hang the bad reputation rap on us are your Kanigit brethren ... and they started that 15 arrests ago... if that 16 arrests is even accurate. Sorry, but if that number is even close to correct, combined with our inability to get recruits who can make the grades to get into college, gives the Knight fans all of the, justifiable, ammunition that they need. Exactly, "gives the Knight fans all of the, justifiable, ammunition that they need". Who gives a crap what those whiners think?? Nobody else gives a crap about this stuff because it goes on all over big time college football. Show me one reputable source outside of Orlando and Tampa that has given those supposed 16 arrests any kind of press at all. Show me one source outside of Orlando and Tampa that gives us or UCF any kind of press besides the occassional "are they there yet?" type story. You don't think the other Big East fans aren't in the same boat as UCF fans? Do you think that the typical walk-up Tampa football fan, that we want to come to our games and become USF fans, isn't in that same boat? We're shooting ourselves in the foot with this nonsense. To the people who aren't big-time USF fans, this looks bad. Not just for UCF fans. Believe it or not, but we're getting a bad reputation, and that reputation will eventually spread outside of Tampa and Orlando. It's embarrassing.

5. Having a couple arrests here and there is normal. It happens with these kids. But, having 16 (or whatever) in three years, as the UCF Fan pointed out, is simply unacceptable. There comes a time where it gets embarrassing and we start to get a bad reputation. I believe that time was at least 5 arrests ago. No need to worry, though. We all know nothing will come out of this. I'm tired of our administration accepting this behavior, all in the name of victories on the field. It's a shame.
6. Grothe is all we have. He was the only thing who kept us in this game. Sadly, he was also kept us from winning, but we can't expect him to do everything.
7. North Carolina and Illinois are two of the worst teams in the country. While Rutgers has been kicking some butt, I'm not so sure they're going to be in the Top 25 for long, once they start playing real competition.
8. Honestly, if UCF knew what was right for them, they would wear their white jerseys, forcing us to go dark. If we wore the dark green jerseys, that wouldn't be good during mid-day in Orlando.
9. Rutgers is getting better and better and by the looks of our first two games, we aren't. This game scares me because we should win it.
10. Great post. Truth is, pretty much anything that is said about UCF or USF can have the other team's acronym substituted in. Both of our programs only have a few pieces of the puzzle and are still looking for the other pieces. Whether we want to admit it or not, we're on almost the same level and are both gunning for that same brass ring.
11. Go back to the Dumbgeon where you belong!  Ya'll this obsession you have with USF is getting out of hand. Sounds like he's a USF fan.... It sounds like he's PRETENDING to be a USF fan... come on "War on I-4"?  14 posts? Think what you will. I'm simply pointing out that complaining about UCF's positive press does nothing while we are having negative articles written about us. Sure, wins mean just about everything when it comes to popularity. But if we aren't dominating on the field, we are going to need that press. We aren't at the point in our history where we can shun the media in any way.
12. The only problem is while they are getting positive press, we are getting negative press because of Leavitt not pulling his head from his anus. UCF is certainly winning when it comes to press and how to handle the press.
13. BINGO! It's the NCAA catering to ESPN before their own teams and players. The all-mighty dollar is now running the NCAA and if West Virginia and Louisville poop the bed this season, that all-mighty dollar is going to start getting the NCAA to try and run the Big East out of the BCS (or share it some more).
14. Smazza is correct in this case.  Those other teams have such depth that a few losses don't hurt too much.  We've picked up an awful lot of walk-ons recently and some are being called on to fill gaps.  Let's hope these walk-ons have the ability to fill those gaps successfully. Virginia Tech has a thriving walk-on program, as does Texas A&M, Clemson, FSU etc... The difference between the schools smazza listed and USF is that fans from those schools don't turn on their own team and don't have unrealistic expectations about a 9 year old program. Comparing our walk-ons to walk-ons at VTech, Clemson and FSU is an unrealistic expectation in my opinion. As a 9 year old program, we just aren't at that level yet where we can have the best of the best come and walk-on our practice field. It's not "turn(ing) on their own team" to realize that we just aren't there yet. Losing proven starters and replacing with walk-ons is going to hurt, unless these walk-ons can really step it up. Smazza might not say things too eloquently and is always seen as negative around here, but in this case he's right-on.

16. Somebody actually made a bet with you about that? The Lions have a kicker, Hanson, so there was no need to keep another.
17. It's about time to STAMPEDE the Athletics Office and demand some changes. This is ridiculous.
18. This eats up the redshirt year for these kids, right? They have 5 years after high school? So all of these kids that didn't make it and are supposedly coming back will have 4 years?
19. Yea, but if it would have worked it would have been on that list...
20. I have no idea about the numbers of tickets sold or the number of tickets in those sections. Just like in RayJay, there are pleanty of seats. They start at about the 35 yard line and move down towards the end-zone. It's very similar to what you guys had set up for use in RayJay. Supposedly season tix are over 14K now... who knows...
21. Visitor seating in the Citrus Bowl is sections 107, 106 and 105 usually.
