Good question. I believe only time ranked teams missed the tournament was probably due to being banned from post season play. If USF doesn’t get ranked in the top 25 this season I believe they will get there next season.
Well son of a gun...

Only 68 teams are invited to the NCAA Tournament, which leaves many heartbroken on Selection Sunday. Here are five of the most notable omissions. -

Will we be ranked on Monday? Which sport are we talking about?

Has a ranked team ever NOT made the tournament?

A UCF coach on one of his players:
"He doesn't know the meaning of the word fear. In fact, I just saw his grades and he doesn't know the meaning of a lot of words."What does the average UCF player get on his SATs?
Drool. How many UCF freshmen football players does it take to change a light bulb?
None. That's a sophomore course. How did the UCF football player die from drinking milk?
The cow fell on him.Two UCF football players were walking in the woods.
One of them said, " Look, a dead bird."
The other looked up in the sky and said, "Where?"

I watched the second half. One big wasted opportunity due to lack of clock awareness stands out to me. Their defense was pretty good but we didn't help ourselves.
Yea, we were talking and said the game would come down to one or two crucial plays.

I hope Amy is a star, but Dani Gonzalez once made 7 threes in one high school game. She’s made 10 in 19 games this season. I’m just saying . . .
Doing something once is not exactly the same thing as an average of every game stats.

Cjs was all about practice, how did that work out?
Amir is all about practice. How’s that working out? Golesh is all about practicing, how’s that working out?

SMU ??
Teams like Texas lose over $1.2 million over non home games.
That’s pretty much my point.

I believe we’re 2 wins and 3 losses vs Texas so far this season.
Not good.
GO BULLS!

IIRC schools now have a”Portal Scout” to monitor who’s in , and where. Probably following every possible player on social media, and rating them according to needs.

Exposure is very minimal even if you win the thing, practice for hoops means little as well as the roster is fluid.
Gee, I wonder why the coaches insist on practicing almost every day.

Certainly hope she ends up in Tampa.

Merchandise question:
Does anyone know where I can get one of those gritty not pretty shirts? Been looking everywhere but can't find it.
Also have been seeing a black Adidas hat with the state of Florida that has an iconic U over the Tampa Bay area. Anyone know about that?
I wouldn't be asking if I didn't put the effort in to look. Sorry guys for the non value added post just want to freshen up the Bulls merch and find it hard to believe that the team is repping this stuff and not selling to get that money.
10 second google search. They're on Amazon for $21.

Only make the dance if we win Conference tourney however NIT is obtainable and would be an incredible turnaround. I agree with prior poster, CBI been there and done that, hard pass.
So you're saying that the extra practice and exposure is not worth our time?
-
So all we have to do is keep BB healthy, get their QB injured and they're automatically eliminated from playoff contention...

THE SEC , NCAA, and Texas Boosters will probably find a way to get them off the hook for the buyout.
If SMU boosters don’t care about giving away $350million I can’t imagine Texas cares about $1.2mil.

There was no real school we could have modelled after because we were unique at that time. Starting a football program in a major metropolitan area that had an NFL team, along with an NHL team, and then moving up divisions at the speed of light. If we had modeled after UCF, we should have started football at the lowest level, 20 years earlier. They're where they are because they hit on coaches at the right time and we didn't ...
Just a guess, but I believe @MMW is referring to the model UCF set when they decided to make football a priority. The same priority Golesh talks about since he was hired, from the top down. USF, IMO, had zero intentions of building an OCS until UCF left us wishing we had done something sooner.

Ariel should shoot the ball just to keep them honest and she has made a couple threes the past two games. At this point, I’d rather see her shoot the ball than Carla or Dani.
Absolutely! There are probably 6 or 7 times every game where the defense pretty much ignores her and tries to block the passing lanes. She's got wide open shots. I think that's one of the reasons we struggle so much to get the ball inside.

Now that Saban is out, are all the Tide commits trapped, or can they reverse their commitment? Any from the Tampa area that might want to come back home
Looks like 25 have entered, but oddly, only 5 since he announced his retirement.

I will post this again in case any you has not seen it yet. Tell me that this is not a sleeping giant on the bench. Look at her ability to get to the hoop and score. Wilson can't do that; Alvarez can't do that; Blasigh can't do that; Asensio can't do that. Imagine how much she could open things up for Blasigh. You can't look at this tape and tell me that she would not bring major improvements to this offense.
Pretty sure we can find highlight reels for most any player. And none of these shots are against anywhere near the defense that the women are playing against now. But, I do agree that she should get a lot more playing time than Wilson. On offense we're playing 2 on 5 most of the time and defenses don't even care that Wilson is out there.

You're welcome to change them to ant team you wish. But, here you go...
What do you say to a FAU football player dressed in a three-piece suit?
"Will the defendant please rise."
FAU coach Tom Herman is only going to dress half of his players for the game this week. The other half will have to dress themselves.
How can you tell if a UAB football player has a girlfriend?
There's tobacco juice on both sides of the pickup truck.
Sorry, can't change this one: How do you get a former UCF football player off your porch? Pay him for the pizza.
